My Unsung Hero "Derrick Dockery"

How about the play of Derrick Dockery? I hope this was his comming out party, beacuse he was a huge factor in yesterday's game. There were several plays where he blocked two guys on one play, this is as good as I have seen one of our O-line guys play in some time. If he continues to play like this he will be in Hawaii come January.

I hope you're right.

He may be in for the toughest test of his career on Sunday against Henderson, Stroud, and the Jaguars front.

Yeah, no kidding. Here's hoping the kid can continue to improve. . .he's had a slow (but fairly) steady pace of development in his career.

Dockery was playing extremely well at the end of last season. He and Thomas could often be seen out in front of sweeps, laying waste to defenders.

As much as I've been down on Dockery in the past - he's been playing some good football lately. I hope, as with other aspects of our offense, that this continues to improve.
