Brett Favre

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Brett Favre

Post by HEROHAMO »

Rumors are that Brett would consider leaving Green Bay and playing for another team. I am all for picking him up next year for the one two years he has left. If he leaves that it is.

He should consider leaving football altogether. He's done...was done last season and needs to admit his run is over.

I actually heard on a Sunday morning radio show (I believe Inside the NFL) that the Skins were considering trading for him in soon. Yikes

Yikes indeed. Don't we already have 2 veteran QBs whose best days are behind them?!?! Do we really need a third?!? And at what point do we play JC if we bring in Farve - that move makes no sense (unless of course they'll take Brunell in a straight-up trade. I'd do that deal in a minute. I'm not sure how much of an upgrade Farve is at this point over Brunell, but he's definitely an upgrade.).

If there were to be a trade at all, it would have to be Collins for Favre, but I don't see a trade happening.

I think it was this sportswriter's idea of what might happen, you know how that goes.

Farve still has the physical abilities. He just needs to make better descisions.

Farve would play one to two years max. And hand the keys to JC that would be perfect.

I'd rather let ARE do the interim throwing rather than to replace one headache with another.
In his day, there was none better than Brett. Sadly, his day was a Tuesday in 1997.

He is far better than what we currently have now. And at least he is not afraid to throw down field.

Brunell can't throw more than 10 yards down the field.

Favre can throw about 60 yards down the field and still hit a guy right in the numbers...a guy wearing the other jersey. (Substitute any number you'd like for 60)

Of course, I'd by happy.

Clinton didn't have any TDs until week 6 of last season, but that stat doesn't reflect how important he was for us.

Mark may currently be struggling in every way, but bringing in Favre would be a step backward in entirely new and twisted dimensions.
