You aint kiddin bro.....you would think after Minnesota converted their 6th 3rd and 9 that maybe he would switch it up and blitz the corners instead of letting them get beat all night long......you guys dont think Greg Williams is calling defenses like he just got a big contract do you? It scares me the way our D played last week.

The skins defense doesn't seem ready to contend with the 'girls. They're going to need to get a good rush going. Rattle Bledsoe. Get him to throw to the Burgandy and Gold instead of to Glenn, Owens, and Witten. I'm not sure they're up to the task. And on the other side of the ball, can the offensive line make holes for Portis and crew against the really good front seven that the 'girls have? On top of that, at best it's going to be a close game, and John Hall doesn't give me confidence in his ability to hit an important kick to win the game. Man, someone out there give me some reasons to not dread the game on Sunday!
We'll be stomped. Brunell will continue to be QB who can't make use of
one of the league's best set of receivers. He'll dump the ball off or throw it out of bounds rather than downfield.ey and Lloyd will coninue to be ignored. The OL will be porous but Portis might get some yards on his own. The Cowgirls will hurt us on the ground and kill us through the air. Cowboy's 35, Skins 13.
Same drivel, different day. Quelle surprise! I know... I know... bring back Ramsey right? The guy playing 3rd string in New York...
This is soooo different from last year... when Brunell took us to the playoffs... if I remember correctly you had pathetic reasons like 'mystic forces' when you couldn't answer for good play from MB.
There are no reasons for you not to dread the game on Sunday... in fact, there are no good reasons for you to ever watch again.. your boy is a NY Jet now... try www.jetsinsider.com.
Here's how we win or at least start building for the future. Start JC and have him throwing up the middle and long from the get go. Spread the line. Run Portis and Sellers when the pass is established , not just Portis when both are in the backfield. Risk the interception, risk rushing the QB on D. We need extreme aggression on both O and D. Bench Holdman for
Rocky. Acquire a FG kicker who can hit from over forty yards; put Betts and Thrash in as kick returners and put Rock on the bench. We're going to need about 30 points to win, as well as sacks and turnovers. We're going to get about 10 to 17 from Brunell, so let's get JC in there and hope for a breakout game.
Don't forget aboutey and Lloyd. Try not to be outcoached in regard to game plan and utilization of available talent. Pray for Springs return and kick Roger's butt. We can't have a CB in there who let's himself get burned long at least twice in the same game, if not more. Figure out why we can't stop passes on third down, fast.
We need Randle El on punt and kickoffs, just like we used to use Darrell Green. Losing him to injury would be huge, but we can't afford the crappy returns we get from everyone else.
And why, why, why can't we get a kicker that does not kick off to the 20 at leas once per game? Is it really that difficult to kick a football 65 yards? Is it too mcuh to ask for someone making hundres of thousands of dollars a year just to get it at least to the 5 consistently?

Yeah you're right. The Skins should just chalk up a loss and not even make the trip to Texas.

I think the skins will win this game. I think after the loss this past week the coaches are gonna put the fire under some asses.
We beat ourselves Monday night and with the character of this team, they will come out swinging. Skins 24-17

A win here and we might just knock another cowboy QB into retirement. If we can pound Bledsoe like we did the 2nd game last year, he might just be done for the year......enter Romo and we can begin working on our third dallas QB "retirement party".
I don't know about a lot of you, but getting pumped up for Dallas Week is just what I needed to get over last monday.

Beat Dallas!!!
I cannot WAIT for us to play Dallas. And every article trashing the Skins, every pundit and idiot picking Dallas, every post by the anxious kids on this web site, every person that thinks back to the first Dallas game where we needed the bombs, and not the second game--it just pumps me up more. It's like that second game last year never happened!
The title of this thread is ridiculous. Of course we can beat Dallas. The O-line looked really good running the ball last week, especially on those pitches. We'll be more confident and less hesitant. We will beat Dallas. But don't take my word for it. In fact, don't watch the game at all.

I wish I were as confident as you. The second game last year was great, but it seemed like the Cowboys mailed it in.
The game against the Vikes wasn't all doom and gloom. I liked the new offense a lot. It's just the secondary worries me, and they played so poorly in the preseason, and now with Prioleau's injury it's all that much worse. Plus, I expected Archuleta to be better, and maybe he will be, but he didn't show us much Monday night.
I just hate losing to the Cowboys. Their fans are the worst.
The good thing is after this game the skins travel to Houston. That should be a good team to whup up on, no matter how Sunday's game turns out.

Real Quick on Vikings game- Did anyone notice mon night that was the same ref that threw Sean Taylor out of the Bucs game, I think that idiot kornheiser was on to something, perhaps the referee feels like he knows Seans character and was looking to flag him. Disgracefull.
PAST IS PAST...THIS IS DALLAS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1st: WE NEED TO BE ALERT, the cowpukes WILL try to physically hurt Moss.
Officials need to be reminded before the game that this secondary was embarrassed by one of our players in particular and there could be illegal retaliations.
W/that said...
I'm predicting a Skins Victory in Dallas.
However I think last year's 35-7 game is just extra motivation for a team that needs very little to compete with us. My worries have names they are... Demarcus Ware, Marcus Spears, Greg Ellis, i think if our O-Line can hold these guys off then our wideouts can torch dallas' secondary. But we can't just throw it, we have to control the clock and convert 3rd Downs.
Strategy to beat dallas...
1. Protect & dominate the line of scrimmage (not easy)
2. Feed Portis
3. Get Touchdowns not FG's

that would be great for ANY game, not just dallas. #1 will win you most ball games alone.

No hope of winning?
No chance on earth?
Doubts?
Ah! But the Redskins,
THEY will win in a true historic manner to be remembered in the annals of the team's history.
THEY will make us proud.
THEY will show the character and true shape of our team.
Go Joe!

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I think the Redskins will win. Because I HATE the Cowboys. Thats why.
Every Dallas game I turn into that 8 yr old kid who thought the Cowboys were cheaters, every call against the Redskins was wrong and seethed at any announcer who agreed with those bad calls or dared compliment a Cowboys play or player.
We will win because I HATE them. Period.

Cudos to the Cowboys for turning back into a team we can love to hate. Cry baby Roger and crew were so easy to hate. In the Jimmy Johnson days, I had a hard time keeping up the edge. Not that I liked him, but he was so gracious in victory and defeat and had a team that just didn't irritate enough to keep up the edge.
Scummy Switzer was a start, but now with guys like the arrogant Tuna and classless human being TO, they are earning our disgust again.
So I like your argument.

TO counts as a human being?
