Hello USA and Bless you all on 9/11

Post by BadgerKing »

Hi Guys, the old Badgerking has been pretty ill recently, I got a virus that attacked my heart...pretty awful but in time for the season I can at last say I am well and getting better. I have missed you all (if you can even remember me) but I ready for this season and we are going to rock!

Now its 9/11 and across the Atlantic I want to say that my thoughts and tears are with you all. There is no anti US feeling in this European I see you guys as great allies and better friends. Bless you all and remember no matter what the media spits, you are not alone

Go USA!

It's good to have you back, BadgerKing--one of our (now many) fine UK representatives. I'm especially glad to hear that you're on the recovery side of things. . .best of luck to you in the next few weeks/months.

TOBK - It's great to hear the great news from across the pond. Even better, it's great that you're feeling well enough to watch the Skins roll on their way to the Supa Bowl, and to refer to yourself in the third person. "The Redeemed One" certainly digs that.

Happy posting!!!

I hope that's a typo.

Get well soon. And thanks for the love. We think highly of you Brits, too.

Tony Blair??

Just kidding. Thanks for the thoughts BK. Glad to hear you are recovered. Any illness involving the heart is one I don't wish on anyone... well, maybe Michael Irvin... nah, not even him.

Welcome back BK and thanks for the kind words on such a historic day.

Let's hope the Skins make it better with a victory tonight.

Glad you are feeling better, and thanks for the thoughts. It should be an incredible sight with 90,000 American flags at FedEx tonight. Home of the Free and the Brave.

How do Brits get hooked on American Football? Is there much coverage over there? Just curious, and hope you're feeling better!

Welcome back old chap. Sorry to hear you've been so unwell - but never fear, the Redskins will be providing just the right tonic for you tonight. Just a shame that the season has to kick off at midnight. And it doesn't get any better, with the Cowboys game starting at 1:15am.

Anyway, let me just add my best wishes to all those people out there touched by the events of 9th September 2001. No matter how bad it feels at times, you are never truly alone.

Yeah, big whoops there. In my defence, 9/11 over here would normally mean the 9th November, but there's no excuse for that.

No problem, UK. The sentiment was "spot on", even if there was a typo on the date, and that's the more important thing. It's much appreciated.
