Mr Nickels...school of hard knocks?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Add IND Vs. NYG to the thread title.

I liked that long first drive, even if it only ended in a FG.

Damn, I was hoping Indy could hold them to a short drive, and get their D back out on the field.

Burress looking good, making Eli look good.

That's twice he's just tossed one up in the air and watched Plax pull it down for him.

i haven't seen defense this bad since spurrier was in town in '03... what is wrong with the colts? they can't tackle, and can't cover. you have to be able to do at least one or the other really well-- if you are too small to tackle, you should be fast and great at coverage. if you're too big and slow to cover, you should be strong and great at tackling. what gives??

OMG! Right before that happened (Like the 3rd play of the game) did you see "Mr. Nickels" get TRUCKED by Dominc Rhodes!

LaVar goes up to get him, then SMACK! Rhodes just went straight though him. And then LaVar is just lying on the ground watching Rhodes gain like 5 more yards.

I mean I like LaVar and all still, but dude he's definately needs to play better to still be considered a top 10 even 15 LB in the NFL.

i hate to see games decided by the zebras, but i'll take the giants loss any way i can get it.

i would like to see that "push-off" call from a different angle though. maybe there was something we didn't see very well.

Zebras didn't decide anything other than one bad call. It's a kneejerk reaction to think that any questionable call in the last quarter of a game somehow decides it. . .one bad call is not what made / broke the game--this time.

crying? what did i say?

yes, i hate to see games decided (or at least very heavily influenced) by the refs. everyone should, it ruins the integrity of the game. please don't try to pretend that PI call didn't have a huge effect on that game because it did.

all that aside, i also said i'll take a giants loss anyway i can get it. the reason it sickens me is BECAUSE when i see it happen to another team, it reminds me of the 2 or 3 games we will lose this year on blown calls (just like every other year).

I'm not sure the push off is a bad call. I, like others, would like to see it from another angle. Offensive pass interference will ALWAYS be an interpretive call from the officials. They see the arm extend (or, in this case, the elbow), they throw the flag. It didn't help that the dback slipped. I can understand the call, even if it was unfair.
