Yes Congratulations.

I've been through divorce, just not as the husband or wife. Like many I'm the child of divorced parents. It's not easy. Not even as an adult.

Gotta say, Redeem is a good example on how to put an extra effort into a relationship...

not to say no one else is... but I kinda know him.

I on the other hand tried.... am now unfortunatly divorced. Going through a rough time...

upset.... lost.... pissed... depressed... but maintaining my sanity one minute at a time. I don't know what to do anymore.. I have some awful awful thoughts.

Twice divorced. Married for the third time, almost 16 years. Hey, Punu, the hurt, the confusion, that all eases up and eventually goes away. The test is when you can wish the other person well and not think secretly "Die from drinking cyanide cocktail, you miserable blood-sucking $#*!!!"

For me, divorce #1 was a mutual decision and amicable. Still tough, though.

Divorce #2 was very painful. She broke my heart. That was 3 years ago and I'm still trying to get over her. I thought she was "the one". I hate it. Sure, I've dated other women....but my mind keeps going back...and it sucks. I'm wondering if I'll ever get over her. Maybe if/when I fall in love again. We'll see.

You're right, though, Punu, now is the time to turn to your friends for support.

I've been married for almost 18 months now, and since my wife is almost as rabid a football fan as I am, I don't see it going south anytime soon.

But I grew up with friends of divorced parents, and it isn't pretty. Some of them turned out fine, and some of them didn't. Divorce is a scary thing, and it does weigh on my mind now that I moved to Utah a few months back.

Did you guys know that Utah has among the highest , if not THE highest, divorce rate in the country? I think only Hollywood gets divorced more than Utah (and yes, I know Hollywood is not a state).

Interesting side note: Utah also has the highest bankruptcy rate in the entire country.

Correllation: I think so

yeah it'll be tough... we were so happy for so long. Then things just flipped. We were two different ppl so quick. I'm sorry to hear about all of yours divorces... I may see a therapist.
