Getting T.J. Duckett?
Was getting T.j. Duckett a good move. I think he could be a real change up for Clinton Portis, and good in short yardage situations.

I didn't like it because I felt bad for Betts and Rock, but he showed some great runs in the pre-season. He's going to be great on short yardage situations, reminds me of the A-Train down in Tampa Bay.
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

Yes because it seems Portis may not be available for the opener so if Duckett is our starter then we seem to be in good shape. Duckett has very deceptive speed and is a powerful runner so we are in good shape.
Yes, trading for Duckett was a good move.

Keep Cartwright instead of Betts, are you serious man? Betts is definitely better than Cartwright in my view. Ask Saunders, I think he would agree too...he's been very happy with Betts and has not commented as much on Rock.

Betts has more talent. Cartwright always gives 100%. Betts doesn't.

You know, at first I was really disappionted in the Skins for making that move.
I really was hoping that we would start focus on keeping a core group of guys around to build strong chemistry.
And when we ended up trading for Duckett, I too thought it was a slap in the face to Betts/Rock/Sellers and I wished that the team had shown more faith in those guys.
However, winning wise it was probably the right move because not only is TJ a big bruising back, like Jake said, he has deceptive speed and once he gets rolling, it's hard to stop him.
However, I would be willing to bet some money that you will see CP in the starting lineup against Minnesota.

Life in the NFL is brutal, but this was a clear weakness for the Redskins. Portis nor Betts were reliable on 3rd or 4th and one. I like Betts and Rock too, but I don't like them enough to lose.
