By DAVE SPADARO
The Eagles have traded an undisclosed future draft pick and reserve linebacker Mark Simoneau to the New Orleans Saints for wide receiver Donte' Stallworth.
PhiladelphiaEagles.com will have more details of the trade as we learn more about the deal.
The 6-foot, 196-pound Stallworth, a fifth-year wide receiver from the University of Tennessee, caught a career-best 70 passes for 945 yards last season.
Stallworth also caught seven touchdown passes, his most since recording eight during his rookie season. Stallworth has 10 career games with 100-plus receving yards.

From what I remember he had some nagging hamstring injuries first few years but has been pretty healthy the past two. Fast, young dude though. Steal for the them too considering we gave up the same amount for duckett. Philly is starting to worry me a little more... they looked good on that Friday night Monday night football game last week.

Bad for us but it could be worse. They could have picked Branch from the Pats. They still can though...
Come on guys. Everybody knew Philthy would not seat still at that position. Pinky would never be a #1 receiver on any NFC East team, even Philthy.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

2 cents.
They've got more than one WR. Some rookie named Reggie Brown burned us for 7 catches (long of 33 yrds), 77 yrds, and 2 TDs in that last "must win" game of the season. And that was catching balls thrown by the second-stringer. Remember? I bet Joe Gibbs does. Unfortunately, Stallworth's going to be a weapon - I heard his 40 time is 4.2! Still, I think G. Williams and the defense will be able to handle this new WR.
This is definitely not going to be an easy division.

Andy Reid must get his personnel advice from RiC on THN.

He had a good game against a weak D. We have to wait & see how he does against better competition.
