New Firm Web Site

Post by Justice Hog »

When I opened my firm, a good friend of mine who does web design created my firm's website for free. He did a decent job and, honestly, a lot of attorneys in my area that saw it actually said they were impressed with it.

I sent it to BossHog to get his input, because (being a web master himself), I would certainly value his opinion. To try to find the best word for his response, I'll just say "amateur." He suggested that I get my site professionally done. I didn't do that...until now.

The problem with having a friend to your website, although much appreciated, is that it's difficult to make it "google friendly". Apparently, websites should be loaded with certain "words" throughout to make search engines find it more easily. I didn't really know this....and, as a result, my first website suffered.

So, I had it re-done, by professionals. I really like the new version. It's chock-full of information and, in my opinion, looks pretty professional. Even more important, it is now search-engine friendly so, hopefully, I'll be picking up more business.

If you're even remotely interested in checking it out, I guess you can hit the "www" button below, or go here.

For those of you out there starting your own business and wanting to create a website for yourselves, follow Boss Hog's advice: get it professionally done!

Looks good but the contact us tab does not work.

I was just randomly clicking things and thought that it might be a helpful piece of info!

I tried that out before you mentioned it...and found that out, too. Working on it.

Thanks.

That looks great. I am actually going to have my web design company imput keywords after my next Real Estate transaction. I hear what you are saying about having a professional webdesigner build your site.

Great improvement JH... much, much more in line with what you want to portray professionally.

Didn't see the first one, but this one works nicely JH.
