Cowboys sign Wiley

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Here comes Kenechi Udeze.

The skins let the freak and wiley sign in the division.

They make a run at J.Lynch with big bonus & draft the best DE in the draft.

I was thinking the same thing Smizz....but hate to see Taylor slip away.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

I'm still for drafting Sean Taylor. I'm going off what I heard from various sources, so I don't know how accurate this is, but I heard that the D-linemen in this years draft are good, but not great. I heard Udeze numbers are good, but he played against weak O-lines, but I could be hearing a bunch of BS. I still want Sean Taylor. I feel confident that Taylor will produce big time. I feel there is uncertainty with the D-linemen in the draft. If the skins don't sign a FA DE now, maybe their waiting for June 1st.

Man, this reminds me of the La'Roi Glover signing. Wiley and Glover made a name for themselves with other teams and have good reputations and the Cowboys pick them up and look very smart in the process.

This doesn't bother me that much because we may not have the DE's with the ability of Wiley but I love the fact that we have two great tackles that can take care of any DE in the league.

Man, this only makes our division that much more talented on paper. I kinda didnt want the Skins to get Wiley but once I heard that Dallas got him I thought to myself "man we should of picked him up."

I usually don't call out too many things, but unless you've acquired Pace and Ogden without my knowing, this statement is ridiculous.

Even if Bugiel can sprinkle some magic dust on Samuels and Jansen, neither is in the top 10 in the league at their respective positions.

On the Wiley signing, even if he's a mediocre DE, that's a tremendous upgrade over the weakest link on the #1 defense last year.

There is nothing wrong with our O-line. They improved big time at the end of last season and did not play to their potential. Plus we upgraded at TE and C. If Spurrier and the rest of our coaching staff last year were coaching your Cowboys, you wouldn't of had the #1 defense last year and your offense would have been complete $h!+, instead of just sucky.

It is somewhat odd that when the Eagles are the "team" in the division there aren't any Super Bowls being won.

Everyone else has multiple rings, strange huh?

Screw the Eagles. I honestly believe that for the next 5 years it will be Dallas and Washington fighting to win the division. I feel like a kid again living in the 80's, back when the cowboys vs. redskins games were exciting and meaningful. Perhaps the Giants will be a factor in some years. I think the Eagles had their day and now it's over for them.

Yes, I am extremely happy we have addressed our needs at Defensive End. I really feel Wiley will be much more productive than Ekuban ever was.

Hmmmmm, you were DESTROYED by a Giants team that had mailed the season in around the middle of November, you were GOOSED 27-0 by "AMERICA'S TEAM", you lost to the SUCKY Bears, the Eagles GOTCHA 31-7, and you gave up 4 Sacks in your last game of the season against that much MALIGNED Eagles defense.

.....How is that finishing STRONG?

Our loses during the last part of the season can be blamed on our defense, which allowed the 27 and 31 pts. We didn't have our starting QB. The last game against the Eagles was a waste of a game. The whole game they were talking about if Spurrier was going to come back next year or not. There was nothing to fight for. We didn't by no means finish STRONG. Our O-line did better at the end of last season than the beginning. Now we have a solid coaching staff that should improve the schemes. Besides, I'm glad we lost that last game against the Eagles. Winning it would have done no good for us. We have the 5th overall 1st rounder. If we would've beat the Eagles we would've been probably 10 or 11th overall and we couldn't draft Sean Taylor.

Dallas "sucked" but we still somehow managed to spank the 'skins on a regular basis.

On a side note, does anyone want to go to the smack board?

It could get fun.

I would. But I'm getting drunk and kind off tired of typing and it seems I'm the only Redskin here going back and forth with you Cowboys. Right now it's 3 on 1.
