Should we take Sean Taylor with 5th overall pick ?

This time last week I thought that it was highly likely that we would trade down in the draft to pick up more picks and to give us the chance to bring in some help for the D-line. This week though the signals coming from the front office seem to be that Sean Taylor is such a special player that we can`t go past him.

What do other fans think we should do? Reading todays postings there is a lot of concern that our defensive line hasn`t been improved enough. Would you go with Taylor or look to do a deal that we allow us more options in the draft?

We can't lose with Taylor, but we need DL help. If we draft Taylor that means Joes Gibbs has a plan & you can guarantee he knows exactly which DL will be released in June. If Joe doesn't think he can fix the DL through the next Free-Agency, then I believe we will have to pass on Taylor and trade-down. There is no way Joe is going into next season with the DL we have now & Sean Taylor, now say if we draft Taylor and Gibbs has his eyes on John Abraham, Daryl Gardener and/or whoever, then I would I LOVE to get Taylor.

I love Sean Taylor, and I think he's gonna be a great player. But we have no cap space left to sign anybody thats gonna be a major pass rusher. So the best thing for our FO to do is trade down and get Udeze or Will Smith and possibly Starks or another DT prospect.
