The New FedEx!

Post by JPFair »

I think we can honestly say that last year was the FIRST year that we can honestly say that the crowd at FedEx field was a "factor" in the game. With the Redskins push to the playoffs, word got around that it was time for the 12th man to step up, and let their voices be heard. I think it's safe to say that the fans took heed of that, and made crowd noise at FedEx something that has been sorely lacking in recent years.

THIS YEAR, we have to take it one step further and make it even MORE of a factor in ALL games, whether we're winning or losing. Crowd noise, and home field avantage are going to play a big part in our success this year. So, those of you that will be attending the games need to be aware that we have to be not just loud, but LOUDER than ever before. It's time to put FedEx field on the map, and make it a living hell for those teams that come there. Forget about all the cigar aficionados that spend time in the cigar bar sealing their latest business venture, the real fans have to do their job for them. As loud as we were last year, it's time to be louder. If anyone tells you to shut up, tell them that not only will you not shut up, but they too should get up off their fat butts and make some noise. Spread the word that FedEx field will finally, after all these years, finally be a place where the crowd can make some impact. Make Jack Kent Cooke proud, and make some damn noise.

The teams chemistry has never been better, and they'll be doing their part on the field. As fans, we have to do our part in the stands.

And don't ever leave the game to beat the traffic. The traffic will be there whether you leave early or not. Stick around and make your presence known!!

Redskins fans must unite by one voice, and that voice should be at FedEx field on game day! Let's get a reputation going throughout the NFL. If you heard Joe Gibbs on fan appreciation day, you could tell he wants to hear us in the stands. So, let's MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

Excellent post.

I agree 100% about last year being louder than I've seen before.

This year, it's time to be "off the hook", plain and simple.

I think he's referring to all of us "losing our voices."

I lost my voice at the scrimmage so I think I'm already in midseason form.

I would ask for you to elaborate but that would throw this thread off topic.

Careful about that 12th man stuff the Aggies don't take kindly to the use of their trademark, just ask the Seahawks :P

Maybe we can be the 6th Hog 8)

I just hope that all the people who asked me to sit down last year at Fed Ex (while were on D no less) stay home this year. I don't want to have to cuss out anymore old men.
