New York fans holla!
Is there a new bar Skins fans can congregate to in the city? A new Falls? Any ideas? I've been looking into several places but it's always good to see what's crackin' with thehogs.net
Moss, ARE, Lloyd,

Did you used to go to the Falls? It was great to have a place where 50-100 Skins fans would congregate to watch the games, without fear of getting turned off for a Giants, Jets, Yankees playoff, or in some cases Bills game. I'll be there for the 1st preseason game and try to get the Skins fans I know there too. Thanks Larou!

I made a suggestion to BH in a PM that the bars that are exclusively 'Skins sites be highlighted in gold. I know he is too busy right now, to even think about making that change, but I don't know if a mod, or staff member might be able to make that enhancement. I think most people here would rather watch a game with other 'Skins fans, and get to hear the feed. Just my

Nobody else can make the change unfortunately, and don't hold your breath waiting for it as you'll likley turn very blue.

Get me a pic or two of Redskin fans AT the bar watching a game and you're a lot more likely to see it some time this century.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I don't live in NYC anymore but I remember this thred from a few months ago http://www.thehogs.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18561&highlight=
looks like the owners of the Falls might be moving it to a new location this year. I never saw a game there, but my dad went there almost every weekend last season and had a blast. I talked to him a bunch during games and the place sounded electric..

Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

Here's a 2nd option. I'm gonna check out both (they're blocks from each other) and I'll give my impressions on Monday. This is a PM I received on another site:
http://www.mercurybarnyc.com/eastside/media/mercurybar.htmlWe have secured a new Washington Redskins Headquarters in NYC for this season. The Mercury Bar (on the Eastside - 3rd Ave b/w 33rd and 34th St) will now host Redskins games. Every week the Skins game will be shown exclusively on 8 TVs, including 2 big screens. There will be drink and food specials every gameday. (For those who joined us last year, you likely know that SoHo bar has since been shuttered.) We're looking for a big turnout beginning Week 1 (7:00pm Monday, Sept. 11) and breaking out the Bandwagon for an outstanding season.
Spread the word to any other Skins fans you know in New York. See you in a few weeks!
