reality tv

Post by hailskins666 »

any of you guys keep up with any of this stuff. i forced myself to sit through an entire episode of survivor. that has got to be the most boring, dull, no good for nothing excuse for entertainment i have ever witnessed. it was worse than watching paint dry.
you want reality tv, tune in during the fall on sundays...... thats as real as it gets.

Oh I hope BossHog doesn't see this thread! He'll be the first to tell you I am a Reality TV junkie! ](*,) But, I am NOT! [-X Really! I don't need to admit my problem, because I DON'T HAVE ONE! [-( Uh-uh! Nope, not me!

But, I do LOVE Survivor -- watched them all since the first! And I've been known to catch "all" of The Apprentice -- only because I know BossHog could probably whip major butt in that show! I might watch one or two episodes of other reality shows out there, only to pacify my curiosity, but I don't like them (eg, The Bachelor, Big Brother, Nick & Jessica (now THAT'S a Waste of TIME and AIR)).

So, you can see, I am NOT a reality TV junkie -- I just have a couple of reality TV vices, but it's all under control! 8-[

HS666 -- to quote the infamous ME.... ROTFALMAO ...

No Admission, No problem! Honest! But, I did forget to mention Fear Factor -- it's reality-based too, but still NO PROBLEM! Really!

Now, see, I can understand why you'd think Survivor was dull -- you just don't know these people like I do! But still, no problem! =; And, if it was last week's episode, where Trucker Sue freaked out -- yeah, that one was kinda slow going -- but NOT dull, uh-uh! [-( These people are REAL, in a real survivor-type, stranded-on-an-island situation! Yup! Totally real! It could happen to any one of us -- YUP, being stranded on a Panamanian island. :-k

um... Taz... put the remote down and slowly back away - no one is going to hurt you

those men in the white suits you ask? they have a nice new jacket for you... with really long arms so your fingers don't get cold...

If you can name 'em all like that... I would worry :)

Ok Taz you don't have to admit your problem but I'll admit mine. LOL I love reality TV. I don't know why. But I was even hooked on the Real World and silly shows like that. I don't watch alot any more because I have a 2 year old and any show that isn't football related or cartoon doesn't stay on for long.
But.... Scott's cousin is on a new reality show on A & E. It's called House of Dreams. I like this one. Only because the prize is awesome. They are all building a house and the winner gets it and now 2 cars they added to it. So they actually have to do manual labor. It's a cool concept if nothing else.
So get my white jacket ready too. LOL I will go freely. (For the peace and quiet if nothing else) LOL
Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!

My favortie line from the Simpsons:

Flanders: "Looks like someone is having a pre-rapture party!"

Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

See Niki -- you have an excuse! That's so cool about Scott's cousin doing that show. I saw one episode a while back, I think it was the first one -- but haven't been able to follow it. I'll try to catch it -- who is Scott's cousin?

As for the new jacket -- I've seen those before! Just like giving yourself a great big HUG! Personally, I enjoy the padding on the walls -- just like being in a giant pin-ball game! ROTFALMAO

( Forgot to admit to watching a few seasons of Road Rules and one of The Amazing Race -- But still... NO PROBLEM!) <they are coming to take me away, heehee, they are coming to take me away, haha ....>

Hey Taz, Mike (a.k.a the frat boy) is my cousin. He was also in the waterboy and Deuce Bigalow (he plays one of the security guards escorting Rob Schnieder out of the mall at the very beginning). He was in some other after-school special type movies in FL.

Oh Well!! Mike finished second to the Ivy League Juggler. He missed out on the house, but I'm sure he's OK with the 20,000 bucks. Congrats Mike!

:D as a matter of fact he said the producers asked him if he would be interested in doing something similar. He said he has paid off all of his debt and is using the rest along with his new contacts to further his fledgling acting career. He is actually sort of happy that he didn't win the house. Now he is free to go where ever he wants.

I'm with HS666...however when I happen to catch FearFactor, I'll watch just to see them try and eat and gag whatever it is in that segment....I find that hilarious for some sick reason.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.

Surprisingly I thought about this this morning while walking my dog. The smell of poo triggered the thought of having to go through a fear factor-like challenge, and immediately I thought about hailskins and his fear factor app. No lie.
