Even with training camp in full swing, things have been a little slow around here. I thought I would do a search for my favorite moment from last year. . .enjoy. . .

Thanks for the "reminder" Irn-Bru and I actually started to go back through those threads Chris .... What a begining to the season.

Really, what came to mind though, was that we are so lucky to have Gibbs back and that he has brought us to where were are now because of his ability to bring in both the players and the coaches and then let them do their thing under his control and guidance.

Mark my words guys - we are seeing a truly gifted sports leader. Gibbs is very special and he will firmly place us at the top of the NFL for some time. We may not win the Super Bowl every year (the best team in the NFL last year was certainly not the Steelers!) but I believe we will be right there because of Gibbs.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

WOW!! I can't believe people had the audacity to say that Gibbs should be fired, after only one full season and two games of the next. Are those people that called for his firing still posting on here?
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

Actually I had about 180 favorite moments. About 3 hours total. Thoroughly enjoyed the Giants thrashing the Skins 36-0. It was the first regular season shutout of Joe Gibbs' career. If I remember correctly, his only other shutout was the 17-0 playoff loss to the Giants in the Meadowlands.

Remember when Moss did pretty much the same thing to the Giants?

Well, then.
Hope the memory is fresh in your mind, young man. You'll be feeding off it for a loooooonnnnnggggggg time.
Owners don't every week, you know. Too bad the only fire your team could muster all year came at the heel of a funeral.
Mara, in a stunning departure from his usual uncanny sense of timing, should've held his last breath until the playoffs.

Folks, attempting to feed a troll is an effort in futility.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that this makes it 2 years in a row that we play Dallas at their sinkhole in week 2 of the season???

Is the NFL trying to market the game as a true rematch, or has Jerrah somehow meddled with the schedule makers to play our team, while we're still trying to get our legs under us?

Either way, based on the news outta Oxnard, the Cowpies won't be ready anyway. My prediction for that game:

Redskins 24 - Pies 13.
Back and better than ever!
