Landis Busted
This is rediculous...he got busted after the 17th stage when he made an 8 minute comeback.

I've heard of degenerative hip problems being linked to steroids (Bo Jackson), So maybe this isn't so far fetched.

I've heard from people that I respect that it would be absolutely impossible to complete the Tour de France without being on drugs. If you take a look at what these guys are doing, and the speed they are doing it at, then it's no surprise.
I think you need to be on drugs to even consider doing it.

"Bike-riding" is not technically a sport.
It's transportation.
If somebody wants to use steroids while riding a bicycle, I'm able to take it in stride and go about my daily life while (at least, outwardly) not showing the impact this news has had on me personally.
I don't know about you guys, but I intend to survive this, somehow.

I'm sure most if not all of them are on some type of drug, but there is a list of banded drugs. No one as apealed this test and lost so this would be a 1st if the results stand. It is odd they had a issue with the results after the race that he ran off with.

Yeah I've heard that if he was doping he was using the drug, and he would have needed some type of blood thinner to get any advantage on #17.

I guess I have to be a little suspicious because he was clean when he started. From the little I know about steroids, I think he would have to be taking them every day for them to help.
I also have to be a little suspicious because Europeans are bent out of shape with Americans winning at their sport. Remember all the charges against Armstrong?

You don't think Armstrong was on drugs? Let's face it - they're all on drugs, and no way does somebody who is clean beat them all 7 times in a row, or whatever it was. If by Europeans, you mean the French, then you might be right. Even then, Landis was initially something of a hero, even in France, for the way that he won the race. But don't mistake every story that portrays any American in a less than angelic light as being the product of some anti-American conspiracy.
