1st and foremost we have 10 days or so till training camp. Get ready for 100% homerism from yours truly. My prediction? An undefeated Superbowl winning season. Joe Gibbs is heralded the GOAT. CP is the leading rusher for the year. Santana, B. Lloyd, Cooley and at least 2 O-linemen make the probowl. Sean Taylor and M. Washington go also.

The pictures below are from a NFL Network commerical.

Homerism? Naaaaahhh

I call that nothing but an accurate Hognostication.

By the way, I have -never- Hognosticated a game with a defeat for the Skins. I will make it -AGAIN- clear this season...

I Hognosticate that the Skins will win each and every game this regular season -and- the playoffs.

Will they? I do not know but it does not make any difference to me.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Same here, I refuse to bet against my team. I'll gladly take a L for my team. Shame on those of you who did that. Lets not drudge up the old threads I made.....

If you're going to go 100% on the homerism, why not an unscored upon season!?!?! After all, defense has been a strength of this team!!

On a side note, what are those orange plastic things that are sticking out from the left hand side of those first two pictures....

According to what I read he's going to be standing next to himself in the commercial. I'd assume that those markings represent his body so that everything will be lined up.

We will unseat the '72 Dolphins...

We will hoist the Lombardi Trophy on the Super Bowl podium...

The DC area will see a baby boom around November next year. Thousands of babies will be named named Joe, Mark, Marcus, Antwaan, Brandon, Santana, Clinton (in honor of the perfect team) and, of course... Fios.
We will not be scored on at all by other teams, and some teams will even have no-shows, since they'll be too scared.

Idiotic Dallas Stars will be banished from Washington forever, as we begin our string of 30 Super Bowl wins!!

This year's team will force the creation of a "Bandwagon" stretch limo, and it will be THE HOT SPOT in all the land.

Forget the HOF bust, the HOF will name an entire building in honor of Joe!!!
Back and better than ever!

Slang.
A crazy or eccentric person.
An enthusiast; a buff: a movie nut. w

This man died for the team and people have the nerve to disrespect him.

Well, Portis is definitely a nutter, but he's also a darn good football player. I don't think saying he's eccentric (hello, he dresses up in costumes for press conferences?!?) is disrespectful. I can't wait to see what he wears this year (and I can't wait either to see what he does in Saunder's offense).

It may be fashion, but it certainly doesn't make sense!

:) Sorry, was that a little too "English" for you. One day, I'm going to communicate in a thread purely through the use of Cockney rhyming slang. That should get a few people googling for their lives.

I think Portis will be great for us this year, but I have a feeling that it will be Betts that saves our rumps before the season is over. (I am a bit of a pessimist though.)
