Can't believe you beat me to it.
it's also posted on the main site now too... I have created a section specifically for training camp that you will find here:
http://www.the-hogs.net/html/2006_camp/index.php
And you'll find it at the bottom of the Articles drop down menu in the navigation of the site as well.
Make sure you note that Fan appreciation Day will be at Fed Ex after the scrimmage... not at Redskin Park.
That'll be interesting.
It also might mean that we meet up before the game in the parking lot, but do more tailgating AFTER the game.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

So, training camp will start in the morning at 10:00 AM on 8/4? Didn't it "end" at 10:00 AM last year?

Yep... but that's the only AM practice for the entire camp.

Well, I'll see y'all at the 4:00 PM practice on 8/10.
Maybe I'll get lucky this year and actually be there at the "beginning" of practice, instead of at the "end".
I'll leave my house at 12:30 PM, just to make sure.

But if she said sit still idiot, there'd be a whole bunch of people stopping and sitting down for no reason.
And Terri's way too nice to say something like that!
(Except to Jake, maybe)
Can't wait to see all of you guys there!

Really looking forward to training camp, scrimmage, etc. Niki...NC...when are you going to be there. Jake and me will be there 7/31, 8/1, 8/2 and I think Jake will be coming alone on 8/4 (I'll be in Ocean City that day). We will both be at the scrimmage on 8/5.

And the schedule gets even less attractive. I find myself less likely to go when the trip's 35 miles than I would if it were 200.
Besides, 35 miles to Ashburn to an underwhelming facility in this city's heat and traffic is like 200 to almost anywhere else.
I'll be relying on the eyes of others to let me know who's doing what.
*sigh*

OH LORD!
Ok wait a darn minute, you cannot complain about a training camp that is number 1 free to the public and number 2 a place to go watch actual practice.
If you don't want to come that's one thing but don't blame the Redskin's because they cannot practice where you want them to.
I know a real fan or two that drive a lot more then from one state over and I have never heard complaints come out of their mouths.

Let me rephrase -- I'm struggling with the realization that camp, no matter where it is, is no longer the Big Event it used to be for me.
At one point, I'd have vacation and accomodations lined up within 72 hours of the release of the Camp schedule.
I catch the hypocricy in all this -- willing to drive and stay in a hotel in Carlisle and Frostburg but not in Ashburn.
Just the combination of the one-a-day schedule (especially PM practices) and a shift in personal priorities have caused this temporary (hopefully) indifference toward going.
Sorry if I dampened the mood. If you're going, by all means enjoy it!

I'll be there with bells on...
... ok, well not really with bells.
But you guys really don't wanna see my bells anyway.
Just over two weeks to go.... can you smell it yet? Can you?
Looking forward to seeing all my THN brothers and sisters. I'm bringing some special Canadian shot glasses this year.

Mmmmmm -- tequlia!

Change of plans. I was planning on coming down on August 10th. Now, all of the sudden, I have a trial scheduled that day. Looks like August 8th will be my day, now.
