Well, our farm team in New York didn't have any prospects to bring up to the big leagues for a tryout, so...we got three of the same thing in case one breaks.

I think Andre Carter is a great player but Brandon Lloyd I think he will let us down a little bit. Saunders will end up putting Lloyd in the slot and Randle El in the 2.

Well...

Santana Moss - With his speed, height does not matter. He proved that last year.

Antwaan Randle El - He is more than just a receiver, he is also a kick returner as well as a good QB. He shines in all respective areas; 3 players in one.

Brandon Lloyd - He is listed at 6'0, so I wouldn't consider him a 'smallish' receiver. But beyond that, what difference does height make when you can out-jump everyone around you?

Ever hear of "The Smurfs"? They worked out pretty well for Gibbs in his first go.

Good film. Didn't someone say that he's slow? He didn't look slow to me. Also showed good ability to adjust to the ball.

Hello again,
Here's a link to the 49ers message board I post on. As you can see, Niner fans can't seem to agree on what Lloyd is going to accopmplish. It's all over the place.

A few good analyses there. Most of those posters didn't take into account his status as the #1 in SF and his #2 or #3 here. The one thing that I didn't like was the consensus about his toughness. I am not particularly worried about Roy Williams or Brian Dawkins, but there seems to be a lot of talk about him having alligator arms. Do you think that is the case? What happened on the goal line in Chicago?

I dont see how anyone couldn't. The guy has shown that he can be brilliant. Nobody with hands like that can be average. Players of his calibur who are labeled "average" dont have the right coaching. The great coaches are the ones who can tap into a player and get his best every Sunday. Lloyd is going to take the NFL by storm this year. Look for two WR's from this team to make the probowl.

Say what you will about the Niners, but the Skins are no better. Let's be honest here...Daniel Snyder is a terrible owner...yeah he has money...but if Gibbs does not make it any further than a wildcard game this season...he will most definitely lose his job. Daniel Snyder is just another punk owner just like John York. You want to talk about a great organization, look at the Patriots, Colts, Seahawks...but don't inlcude Washington in that category. What I love most about Redskins fans is how year after year they get excited and the media hypes about what's on paper, but when the deadskins play...it's totally the opposite. Face it, the skins suck and I hear this from die hard fans I know personally. Please clarify when they have had a great season in the past 10 years. You deadskin fans are a joke. It's funny that you can put the niners organization down becuase you won more games than us, but lets not forget who has the most Lombardis!

Sounds like someone who is tired of getting one of the first 5 picks in the draft, year after year after year - I like the 49ers and hope they can start playing some football again - but that is not happening for a long time - maybe they could ....no, not going to happen

the good news is they're tied for the lead in the NFC West for the next 2 months
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

No, just need to make sure I bring some skins fans back to reality who have been staring at paper with big money names but nothing to show for for the past several years. Oh yeah...that's right, I forgot you guys took the division last year...LOL...nope that was the Giants..my bad. You're posts makes it sound like the Skins are a winning team. I guess you just get used to mediocrity after awhile. Hey don't you have Mark Brunell as a QB? Wow, best of luck this season. Let's hope you guys squeak by just enough to get you into the playoffs again.

BTW..Prediction..there is no way your G Williams defense is going to stop TO this year. Best part about it is that since I live in DC I'll get to see TO smoke all your DB's over and over and over again.

Name the acquisitions since Gibbs arrived and prove your point. If you dont do this then you're nothing more than a troll. Reply to this post, list the guys we've gotten since Gibbs came back and prove your point.

We were the strongest team in our division at the end of the year and went the furthest in the playoffs. Whats your point?

What was our record? Winning team = winning record. Yea, so I guess we are a winning team. Thanks. 10-7

6 game winning streak, 3 of which were against divisional foes. We didn't need anyone else but ourselves to control our destiny. Definatley not sqeaking.

DCNinersFan wrote:BTW..Prediction..there is no way your G Williams defense is going to stop TO this year.

Look up TO's stats against us in Philly. He did nothing against this defense. Dallas has 2 missing Olinemen. HAHHA.

You've really shown your colors as being misinformed and bitter about your team. Its a shame because we welcome intelligent conversation here but you back nothing up with fact/stats.

Yeah, you beat us...but we could go back and forth with that all day long so I won't bite. I'll have to say though that I don't understand your connection with the contradiction...but I'll let you have that one. Good luck with your season this year.

God bless...Man..did I get your goat or what? How many posts did you put out there on this? Apparently you have amnesia, are dillsuional about your teams performance, and indeed color blind. Again, not bitter, just making a point and having fun with it. We can sit here all day and throw stats and player names at each other and it would end with the niners being greater than the skins, but I concede to you and will "Troll" no more (don't know what that is). Alas..you have put me in my place and to shame.

One more thing..you ended one of your posts with a ya'll. IS that even a word? Would that be considered something that would be part of an intelligent persons, like yourself, vocabulary? LOL..you had myself and a few of my co-workers rolling when we read that. I mean you hear it out in the street, but when you see it in writing it just brings it to another level. They have a category for blacks that talk in slang, you know ebonics, but is there something out there for rednecks? Let me know if ya'll think up sumptin down yonder for that, ya hear.

DCNinerFan. Do you notice a difference between the way you are acting and the way Red Razor is acting?

It is possible to talk football without slagging other teams, especially when you are a guest in that team's house.

Some people can't. Usually those people have no actual knowledge to back up their arguments or assertions.

I'm sure by now, most people have already decided to ignore your posts, as it seems your main point in posting here is to "get someone's goat." That's not how we roll here.

We enjoy good solid football conversation. If you want to talk smack, we have a forum for that. Get to know it. That's about the only place people will talk to you after your "first impression." Surely you don't act like this in StormyBot's house.
