The Frenchman cometh
At least one more player will be on hand for training camp. French linebacker Philippe Gardent, the co-Defensive MVP of NFL Europe after leading the league with 70 tackles for Cologne, is guaranteed a spot on an expanded practice squad in the third year of a special NFL program.

If you have ever been "forced" to serve along side the French military, you would know right away why one would hate the french. Arrogant, lazy, SOBs!

A couple of my favorite French jokes:

1) Why are Paris streets lined with trees?

Ans: The Germans like to march in the shade.

2) What is the French Army salute?

Ans: Two arms thrust into the air.

For the French, that is an effective tactic, but violates the geneva convention concerning gas warfare.

I've just spilt my beer because I thought of a Frenchman trying to get into a three point stance whilst holding his arms in the air.

LB's don't usually play from a 3 pt stance. Maybe that's why there are no French linemen in the NFL.

True. Plus, being a Frenchman, he probably won't be very good in the trenches anyway...

All jokes aside, this guy has some potential. He was all over NFL-E. Of course, he'll likely surrunder his spot as soon as he gets here.
