Well he did always under/over throw Patten last year though. I don't know if he threw any passes to him in preseason.

The only thing I'm worried about is when a quarterback gets a fracture on his throwing hand it tends to linger throughout the season

Well, I'd agree if we were currently in the season. It wouldn't heal because he wouldn't be able to stay off of it.

Since its the offseason Brunell can stay off of it until it gets to 100%. I dont expect his finger to be an issue unless he doesn't allow it to heal fully.

So that I don't have any problems at a later date, what did TincoSkin say that was wrong? Bart Simpson made that comment, "Eat my shorts" popular in the early '90's. Remember, you had the t-shirt with him and the skateboard? Just checkin.

I think that this forum should be PG but not G rated. Thats tough. Golly Gee.

Im still trying to figure out how people blame the SEA soley on Mark.

CLL, I don't blame him for Seattle. he's just one of those guys I don't like as a QB. I never liked him in Jax and I hate it that he QB'ing my team. But most important Im a Skins fan, so whether I like it or not he's the QB and I want him to do well, because if he does there's a good chance the teams doing well, but I won't be upset when he's removed at QB.

It wasn't Brunell's fault. It was Gibbs' fault for starting a quarterback who wasn't physically up to plalying. An all time stupid coaching move that remains indefensible.

Sorry Tinco, you don't have to be a Brunell hater to understand older men get hurt, run down, tired, etc. This is likely just the first of Mark's injuries this year. Here's hoping I'm wrong about Campbell not being ready. Instead of riding with Patrick to the Superbowl, we'll likely be fighting to stay out of the cellar with Collins.

Do you need to be a scholar to figure out that this is football and that young guys will get hurt too?

... since you've already judged the season top to bottom... why not do us ALL a favor, and just take the year off?

Why waste your time watching the 'inevitible' unfold?

Guys like you probably packed in the season when Schroeder went down in '87 too... but at least THAT season had STARTED.

For the record... all I see is Campbell getting some extra snaps because of this early injury to Brunell, and that can only be good for Jason. If you're a person that's of the opinion that Mark might be more fragile at his age, then shouldn't you just be happy that he's going to get a little extra 'down time' early in the offseason to learn the new offense and get ready for when it REALLY matters? And isn't it a plus for the coaching staff to see how the team does WITHOUT Brunell? Won't it allow Saunders to see what type of skill-set that Campbell brings to Al's offense?

I could understand y'all whining if we were on the brink of opening the season... but before we've even had a mini-camp?

That's just putting the cart way too far in front of the horse in my opinion.

Put on your Foghorn Leghorn suits and carry on.

So that I don't have any problems at a later date, what did TincoSkin say that was wrong? Bart Simpson made that comment, "Eat my shorts" popular in the early '90's. How about we just let the moderators do the moderating. The rules are posted in the same place that they always have been, and they're the same rules now as they've always been. Just because a moderator 'edited' a post before you could see it, doesn't mean that it didn't need moderating. we don't need a BBart Simpson history lesson... because the moderating had NOTHING to do with the post that remains.... you don't know that because you didn't see the original post... part of the reason that you should just enjoy your membership and leave the administration to those chosen to administer it.

Ah, the old "you must agree with me or you're not a real 'skins fan" argument.

I define "skins fan" as anyone who wants to see the Redskins win on game day (and Dallas lose) - and that certainly includes you, me, and most of the people here. We may disagree with how that's best accomplished (I've said before I don't think Brunell will last the season, and I'd like to see Campbell as the starter), but can we stop with the "you're not a real fan" garbage? Grow up.

If Gibbs didn't think Campbell was ready to carry the load we wouldn't have traded Ramsey. I'll trust his judgement unless it is proven wrong by events.

I cuss Gibbs out every game at home. In the end I put faith in his opinion. I also don't have the experience or knowledge as him. Now I'll tell ya, I would have thrown the ball a bit more last year at the end of some of those games that we ended up loosing. Gibbs just wanted to run out the clock by running the ball then we blew the lead and guess what happened...WE LOST. But thats me thinking after the fact.
