18. Clinton Portis, RB, Redskins: He looked much more comfortable in the Redskins offense last season than he did in 2004. Portis is one of the league's most explosive backs.
26. Sean Taylor, S, Redskins: He is on the verge of being a superstar. He has range and he can tackle. Watch out for him in 2006.
It is the offseason. Meaning, there are no real new stories. Time for creativity and making up something worthy for discussion. No, I am not talking about your post. I am talking about the original article.

I can understand Moss not being on the list. I think in the media's eyes, he needs to have a couple more seasons like 2005 to be considered 'great'. Most of the guys on that list have had a few great seasons, not just one.
By the way, did anyone else notice that Mr. Roy Williams did NOT make the list, not even under the 'Just Missed' section?

Moss belongs. There are 8 WR's on the list. I don't think there are that many WR's better than Santana. I have a problem with the distribution of positions, 1 guard, no centers, no fullbacks, 1 CB (is he saying that CB is the best CB by such a big margin?). on the other extreme, there are 8 WR's, 7 QB's & 7 RB's. I expect ordinary fans to overemphasize the more glamerous positions, but someone who covers the NFL for a living should know better.

Did you know that there is an impersonator of yours running a blog on your behalf?
Thank God it seems to be a quality blog... otherwise, I'd have to go "Highlander" on his azz... you know... "There can be only one"?
