Peter King on SI

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Peter King on SI

Post by elchalje »

Monday Morning QB article--predicts Dallas over New England 23-21 in the next Super Bowl, with Parcells retiring in glory. So much for us Giants and Skins fans who draw nary a mention from King in this article.

If SI says it, then why bother to play the season?

The 2005 season Superbowl winning Vikings agree with this post.

Anybody missed their long predicted victory?

OK, now I know it's Peter King and all, but I'm puzzled as to why people are stillpicking the Patriots to win/go to Super Bowls?

Honestly, I don't even see them making the playoffs this year  (unless it's by default because the AFC East is so terrible)

I mean after last year when they lost there Offensive and Defensive Coordinatoors, that was bad, but then they lost there replacement D Coordinator again this year (Mangini to the Jets)

Then they also lost Givens, McGinest and Viniateri.

I mean sure they were great 2-3 years ago, really great I might add, but things change and I just don't see them being an NFL Powerhouse anymore.

I mean, they're no longer the Champs...

PETER KING wrote:The New England Patriots vs. the Dallas Cowboys. You heard it here first.

All kinds of great angles. Belichick-Parcells. Bledsoe-Belichick. Kraft-Parcells. Brady-Bledsoe. Parcells and his son-in-law, Pats VP of player personnel Scott Pioli, on opposite sides. Maybe we'd call it the Dallas Pioli Bowl. There are two weeks between the conference championships and the Super Bowl this season. We'd need two months to cover all the angles. That's how many good stories would be connected to this game.

He told on himself. He's basing his pick soley off of drama. He wants a soap opera.

is there any way we can kidnap this chump (or really all of the SI staff) and tattoo "I Have a Boner for Dallas" on his forehead?

no need, dcd! everyone knows already! besides they are wrong more often than the weather guys, and everyone knows that too!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

The thing that truly kills me about King's pick is that he didn't even consider Washington - he admits his other NFC picks were Carolina, Seattle, and Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay?!? And who beat them in the playoffs last year!?! Oh yeah, Washington. I didn't used to buy into those "King's biased against Washington" conspiracy theories, but I'm beginning to understand now.

He didn't consider Pittsburg but Miami made the AFC final 4

What's worse? That King writes the crap? or that you all support it like lambs at the slaughter by clicking on the links.

Whether you realize it or not... every time you visit CNNSI to DISAGREE with whatever King has written... you're supporting him and CNNSI.

Here's a concept... stop supporting the drivel and just boycott it. Why on earth do you look anyway? To see what NOT to believe.

We're talking about a guy that would just as soon put a crack head with poorer stats into the Hall than a man who sits at the pinnacle of community greatness and inspires all that he meets.

What more do you need to know about Peter King?

How much LESS credibility could someone have to a Redskin fan?

like iniksder... I'll take your word that the article wasn't worth reading... because I personaly refuse to support them in any way shape or form.

I'm not in any way trying to tell you what you should or shouldn't read.... do as you like... but don't whine about it AFTER you've read it. You know what you'll find when you click on the link, so if you do, you have nobody to blame but yourself.

... and you're justifying his job every time you do.

You think Peter King didn't know that EVERY Redskin fan and their mother wouldn't read that drivel? of course he did. he counted on one of the largest fan bases in sports going to the site JUST to see what a moron he was.

So who's the moron really?

You're right on two counts, cville. As Boss has pointed out we are only adding to the hits this piece of garbage gets anytime someone goes to this site - thn supporters should have nothing to do with any SI site :puke:

So of course, they are also running a poll on who belongs in the hall more... Monk or Irvin? They know ALL REDSKIN FANS will go vote for Art just to spite them.

... you should get a special email from CNNSI that says 'thanks for serving up our ads one more time while you conduct the poll on the site you hate the most'...

They're leading you to the slaughter... and people are putting their neck right out on that chopping board for them.
