Kerry Collins

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Kerry Collins

Post by elchalje »

CBS news rumor is that the Giants are asking him to come in to back up Eli. Personally, I saw Tim Hasselback (sic) play a couple of games as the Skins starter and thought he did a good job in the ill-fated fun and gun. BTW, Tim is the Giants back up at this moment. Nonetheless, with KC's experience, 2 NFC championship games and a Super Bowl (loss), he would clearly be a great insurance policy for the Giants.

Collins is a guy who will simply pick you apart if the Oline gives him a few seconds. Rocket arm and great accuracy, if he has time. Still can't understand why Billick didn't pick him up a few years ago. Ravens had a great Oline, superb running backs, and a defense to die for. Billick, however, would rather have a Boller than an acomplished NFL QB. Can anyone fathom that one?

I hope this doesn't happen, Collins is a MUCH better QB than Manning!

I could be wrong but I'd venture to guess that if you look at all of the posts I have ever made on these message boards and compare them with the posts you have made, there would be very little doubt as to who's replies are more intelligent....but I digress.

I, for one, just am frustrated by the consistent troll-like, inflammatory, content of most of your posts. Consequently, my posts responding to you are generally, short...sweet...and to the point.

OK, playing nice:

Collins has lead feet. Is he better than Tim H? Yes. Tim showed that he is quick-qitted, but weak-armed.

On the whole: a good number two, and maybe better than Manning. Clearly better than Tim.

Collins will be a Raven if the McNair deal doesn't go through. Even if the deal gets done he may still go to Bal. to compete for the starting job. He doesn't want to be anybodies backup, but if he must I don't see it happening in NY, not with the Gints anyway
