Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Snyder would move if DC offered him a better deal than Fedex. DC can offer anything Snyder wants, they don't care who pays for it, for the politicians it's all funny money. If taxpayers are stupid enough to pay for the National stadium (what's the cost up to now? $600 million? $800 million?), they'll pay for anything. Go for it, Tony.

Do your research before talking of this alleged taxpayer rape. I'm a longtime DC resident and not one dime is coming out of my pocket. Larger business' will get raped, not individuals... but they wanted to get raped b/c they pushed for a team.

Yeah right - all that money is coming out of other people's pockets - it's free. Nice world view. And totally wrong.

It's economic ignorance like this that keeps con games like the Nationals stadium going and flim-flam artists like Tony Williams in power.

If baseball stadiums make so much money, the owners should pay for them. Like they did with Fedex. Period.

Don't bother responding. I know you don't get it, and most likely never will.

And you might want to check out how the State of Maryland pays for Camden Yards with the stupidity tax - lottery tickets and keno. Next time you go into 7-11, check out the lottery line and think about the type of person who's really paying for Camden Yards - for Angelos.

Only time will tell my friend.

I know more about this than I care to get into over a Redskins fan football site. Furthermore, I pay very close attention to DC politics and have been following this issue and the possibility of bringing baseball back to the District for 10+ years, including stadium ideas, options, etc.

Talk to me in 20 years when the Anacostia is revitalized and no longer "the forgotten river."
