Oh my God! Say it isn't so! I can't believe the U.S. Olympic Committee is looking at Philadelphia as a potential site!!
That city is just soooooo nasty.
There have got to be better places!

well at least the European soccer fans will think that the Philly fans aren't brutal. I don't like Philly myself but that place does have a lot to offer, it has great food, it has a lot of sports tradition. It is the most hitoric city in college basketball, it has a lot of American history in it (was the capital before DC), Liberty bell, Rocky stairs, and the people their love their sports, they may not express it in a reasonable manner but they are passionate about their sports teams. I think its fine.

Although I have gone to Philly several times and by no means consider myself a frequent customer, I just find that city to be very dirty and nasty. Aren't there any cleaner cities out there?
Sure, it's rich in history and it has Pat's steaks, but damn....

I think D.C. has some history in it? Just maybe.
Was the capital before D.C., so what. Liberty Bell, yeah, gotta be proud of a porrly designed old bell. The rocky stairs, as much as I love Rocky, I dont think the fact that those stairs represent Philthy qualifies them as a significant aspect of American history.
Gotta respect the 'Skins
