Len Pastabelly suggests that Taylor Jacobs might be trade bait on draft day.
I wonder who in their right mind would trade for him? He seems to excell at special teams but just hasn't produced at receiver.

I've not given up on this guy like the rest of you. Sometimes it takes a WR a little longer to mature -- and he's been hurt quite a bit. Injuries early don't always mean you'll always be hurt. Even Santana didn't tear up the league for his first few years, and he was hurt a little too. I read last year that Taylor's teammates thought he was tough in practice. Hard to cover, good hands, etc...
I think he deserves one more year. He doesn't earn much, so he isn't killing our cap.

Trade Bait, what kind of bait does Len think we have here?
GO SKINS GO!!
Given the guys that the Redskins have added, I doubt that Jacobs can make the team this year. It won't be a matter of giving up on him. It will come down to comparisons: he's now competing for a job against Moss, Patten, Randle El, and Lloyd. That's four, and they've all accomplished more in real games.
A trade? Hard to imagine any team giving anything.

I agree.
And as others said, what could we get if we traded him?
I mean our 5th receiver is an early second round pick. Bust or not, this is not bad.
Lets give him a chance with Saunders.
Also, isn't he good on Special Teams?

I certainly don't see any way that another team would actually give something up for him. He's shown nothing on the field that would convince a team that he's worth a pick. He's been in the league long enough now, that teams won't concern themselves with reports of how good he is in practice.
He's not a cap killer, but I think he's mighty expensive for a fifth wide receiver.
I hoped he'd make it, and I don't wish ill upon him, but I think it's time to go.

Don't you mean 6th rcvr! Moss, Randel El, Patton, Lloyd, Thrash, and then Jacobs. I meen Lloyd might have a hard time dressing for every game. I think that Patton will end up being the number 3 (maybe even #2 rcvr) and Thrash will dress out every game because of special teams. So that would meen 5 rcvrs dress! Not too common on a Gibbs team and 6 will NEVER happen!

Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
It will be our secret. I wont tell anybody, alright?
