Who's Jimmy Williams
I am listening to NFL Network and there is a CB from VA Tech named Jimmy Williams. This guy seems like the type of guy who could fit into our system pretty well. Do you guys know something about his play that may rule him out. Most importantly, will he be around for the 53rd?

What may rule him out is the fact that he's projected to go in the first round. But other than that, you're right. He's a big, physical and fast corner.
But he'll probably be the second CB off the board...that is if you consider Michael Huff a "safety". But Williams is a stud. I think one of the top LB's will fall to us there....Corners are hard to come by though...
**Edit: I just read on NFL.com that he had a dissapointing workout, and they rank him behind Cromartie and Tye Hill...at 3...even still three CBs are likely gone by the mid 2nd. My personal opinion is that Williams is better than Hill...Cromartie is a ? mark because he hasn't played in 2 years.

Hill is lightning quick. Williams hits like a mack truck and is fast enough that his speed isn't a liability.

Thats what they said about D'Angelo Hall...saw the kid on NFL Total Access...he seems like a good kid. Said best advice he got was from Hall and it was to "keep your mouth shut".
Corners are supposed to talk while they're out there. What did he ever do wrong???
Id take him if he were there, but he wont be...he'll be long gone by then.
