My Worst Nightmare
John Madden just said Farve might play for another team via a trade with another teams QB...My worst nightmare is Dallas trotting out Owens and Farve, as it is we are going to have our hands full with our division nemisis...Witten seems to be a force at te, then theres Owens Glenn and Julius to mark, How do you guys feel about our short work week heading into the ambush that is Dallas on monday night (again) And how the heck did Jerry Jones buy another monday night home game against us!@! If anything this years Redskins Cowboys monday night showdown should be at FEDEX. The whole thing stinks.

True. Very true. But, as a Skins fan, this would make my day!!! In two games alone, our DBs could break the team INT record with all the picks Favre would throw!!! Sign him...NOW!!!!!

Back and better than ever!

Very true, that's because he's incontinent.

You owe me $19.95 for the new keyboard I will need after I spit coffee all over my old one.

Brett Favre going to the Cowboys = sheer stupidity.
Exactly. Why would he ruin such a successful career by going to such a pathetic excuse for a franchise. He’s Brett Favre, to be a cowpoke would to be a less of an athlete, a less of a person. Just plain pathetic. Don’t end a career like that.

You clearly are smoking the good stuff in Dirtee Jerzee!

Satistically last year was only the third time in Favre's career that he has thrown more Int's, than TD's. Over the past 5 years, which I gather is what you are referencing, when you say, "at this point in his career". Favre has thrown 141 TD's and 98 Int's while Bledsoe has thrown 80 TD's/62 Int's in that same time period. Favres 61.5 percent completions rate, is better than Drew's 57%, also, Favre's passer rating is much higher than Bledsoe's 86.0 to 57.3.
Yes, the luster has faded from Favre's career and his arm isn't what it use to be, but to say that Bledsoe would crap on Favre is insane. Oh that's right, Your a COWPUKE fan! Best of luck with own feeble QB.

P.S
Did you watch that second Cowpuke, Skins game last year, or was your mind to cloudy from the smoke in Dirtee Jerzee? Talk about Crap!:moon:

Good post, genius. Yep, I'm clearly on the ganja by saying Bledsoe is a better QB at this point in his career than Favre.leatherhead 377 wrote:Primetime42 wrote:Brett Favre going to the Cowboys = sheer stupidity.

Nevermind the fact that Favre has at least one brain fart per game that is overlooked as "that creativity that Brett Favre possesses", I'm by no means the biggest Bledsoe fan, but facts are facts. Farva is a shell of himself and has arguably the worst decision making skills of veteran QB's not named Aaron Brooks.
At this point, I'll take Bledsoe over Farve every day of the week and twice on Sunday...and I can name about 35 other QB's that I would add to that list.
Thanks for your useless and utterly meaningless opinion regarding your apparent John Madden-like crush on Favre and New Jersey smoke, though.

My useless and utterly, meaningless opinion was of your lack of knowledge and facts of football, not to mention, a chance to befuddle,(be confusing or perplexing to; cause to be unable to think clearly); a Cowpike fan.Yes, I threw in the definition, because I knew that you had no idea what the word meant. It's obvious that you do not attend Princton in Dirtee Jerzee, as evidence of your spelling and communication skills.
Look one bad season does not define a career (see Bledsoe; i.e N.E and Buffalo) and I'm no Favre cheerleader neither, but to say that Bledsoe is the better of the two is insane. It doesn't take a genius to see that Favre is clearly at the end of his career, but so is Bledsoe. Last year Farve had a depleted team and even the infamous Rod Gardner made an appearance, that's how bad it was. He's made 221 straight starts, has 14 seasons of 3000+ yards and for the past 5 years has out shine your man Bledsoe. The facts are there, all you need to do is look. If you know something different, please enlighten us all with your knowledge (that means "make understand"). Otherwise, you'll have your quarterback that you cherish so and come the second week, on Sunday night. We'll see him CRAP on himself, again!
Have a great day!

I don't need to question my own knowledge, as you misguidedly want to. You're attacking something baselessly (meaning without any proof) my spelling and use of words, but I've got news for you; at least I can spell Princeton, nancy boy.
You keep mentioning past (and way, way, past) numbers of Favre and Bledsoe.
Favre's been declining for some time now. Bledsoe still has a few years left as an above average passer, and he proved it last year. His problem is, and always has been, about holding onto the football too long.
Brett Favre last year didn't stand a chance of "outshining" the likes of Mike McMahon, let alone Drew Bledsoe. And now the guy is holding a team hostage after a performance like that, go figure.
221 starts is a nice stat, but what does it mean if you're gonna throw passes past the line of scrimmage late in games or keep throwing to guys in the opposite jersey in the back of the end zone, all the while saying at the end of the season "What are they gonna do, cut me?"
Thanks for the writing lesson BTW.

More wonderful nuggets from our new English teacher.I'm no Favre cheerleader neither, but to say that Bledsoe is the better of the two is insane

Good point. Let us also not forget that this is the same guy who accused his reciever of not being a team player last year, when said WR was holding out for more loot.
Apparently, holding out is a bad thing to do ONLY if you're name isn't Brett Favre.

As for Favre and/or Bledsoe on the pukes....eh...
They're interchangeable, really. Against our D, they will certainly have their fair share of INTs.

Ok genius,
apparently you didn't get the sarcasm with whole Princton thing but at least now, I know that you are sober enough to carry some train of thought
You mention that Favre has been declining for some time now, except for last year, give us some statistical facts.
Last season, team injuries were a factor and I admit, his decision making was truly horrible. Favre's numbers for the previous 5 years are as good, if not better than most QB's. Green Bay as a team has been declining as a whole not just Favre. Jerry Jones and Parcell's have surrounded Bledsoe with plenty of talent, especially with the addition of T.O.and he should have great numbers. What did Favre have to work with last year, nothing! Given the offensive weapons that Dallas has, you would honestly select Bledsoe over Favre, or 35 other QB's
I also think that Favre's decision to hold Green Bay and their fans hostage is unprofessional and selfish. He should make a decision to either return, or retire.
Remember professor, facts, not drivel!
