A tip for anyone in Southern MD!

Post by NikiH »

This weekend Scott and I had the privledge of spending some time with our family in Southern Maryland. On Saturday morning, we discovered breakfast at Isaac's (yes, the same Isaac's that handled THN tailgating events). We've been for their buffets for breakfast, dinner, and brunch which are all outstanding but we ordered from the menu this time, because we missed actual breakfast time. I ordered something called Crab Benedict. It was so yummy. Imagine the best eggs benedict you've ever had but remove the meat and replace it with a large amount of lump crab meat. I love breakfast. We sometimes have breakfast as dinner because it's easy and something we all agree on. But this was by far the best breakfast I've ever had. I highly recommend it.

Sounds delicious! Where in Southern Maryland is Isaac's?

I have that dish here in Delaware...I can only imagine how good it is at Issac's based on how good their food was this past year!!

It sure is. Right on the water. If you need directions Jansenfan is your man! If you remember seeing the news about the Lighthouse Inn burning down, it's down in that same town. It's a beautiful weekend getaway.

I had many a crab benedict when living in Chestertown. They're tasty.

Been to Solomons many times - that Holiday Inn does have the best buffets (didn't know the restaurant name was Isaac's  )...I can't handle the Tiki Hut anymore - Isaac's is now more my speed!!!

That's the same Isaac's that provided all of the food for the THN tailgates last year, and pending negotiations, will hopefully do so again this year.
