Free Fantasy Baseball

Hey everyone I am doing a free fantasy baseball league through yahoo and i'm looking for some people to join. I had a good number of you join my fantasy football league and it was a success. Hopefully so of you are looking for a league to join. Anyways if you want to join the link is:

I was thinking, to keep eveybody interested in it all season, we should send $5.00 to the commish. Winner take all, or second gets like $10. What do you think? It's very small stakes but just to keep things interesting.

i'd be willing to do that... but hopefully everyone will stay active...

and when is the draft.. right now it's set at autopick... would rather have a live draft.

I plan on an autodraft because whenever I have tried to do a live draft it has never worked out so I am trying the atuodraft. I know its not as good as a live draft but hopefully you all will still play. All you have to do is rank your players how you would originally rank them and the computer selects your highest pick.

no offense bud, but it really take alot out of it by letting yahoo pick your team.. i think as long as some guys want a live draft, we should have one. if people can't make it then yahoo will pick for them and it'll be like an autopick draft anyway for those guys.

sorry man but an autopick draft if too much "luck of the draw" for me to put even 5 bucks down on it. i really can't understand why he doesnt want a live draft.

Yeah I know but our commish wants the autodraft, so I went ahead and ranked my top 25, it still sux but whatever! We need a few more people to sign up.

when is the draft? I hate auto drafts so much! Its practiacally impossible to get a "steal" b/c if you put the steal high than you miss out on someone else

Hey guys, I'm going to keep it autopick. I know it isnt the best but I have a few first time fantasy people trying to play so I want to make it as easy as possible. Like I said, its just for fun. It should be pretty compettitive, I have been playing for a few years now and it looks like most of you have too. If you really hate the idea of the autodraft and you want to leave I believe yahoo allows you to once you are already in a league? I will fully understand. I just want to let you all know now so you wont be caught in a league you dont want to be in. If you rank your players the way you want, then its not all luck. I mean yeah the computer picks it, but it picks it in the order you have it. I understand you all that the live draft is better, but i'm just trying to make it as easy as possbile.

Oh yeah one more thing, I will probably set the draft status to ready a few days before opening day so that everyone will have a chance to exclude injured players and such from their rankings. I think the later the better with that, you don't want to draft someone and then have them out for the year a few days later.

So, when is this autodraft going to happen? The season starts Sunday. I see we now have 11 teams, sweet! I still wish we had a live draft and money on the line.
