I was wondering if anyone here liked him. I was just thinking of him and thinking what a great story. He grew up in Chester Pa. He grew up in a rough area (I heard), than in high school was told he was too short to play in a big time program and what does he do. He goes out and takes a small school to the no.1 team in the nation and wins national player of the year. When entering the draft he told that he was too short for the NBA and slips in the draft for lesser point guards. When interviewing his dad about it, all the Nelson family said was that this is a great night I remember Nelson playing ball when he was 4 and never thought he was going to go this far and its a privilage to be here and get drafted in the first round lot of people only dream of being here and getting drafted in the first round. He could have easily ripped into the system and could have said its bs, lesser point guards are being taken over Jameer. Than what does he do when he gets in the NBA, not only does he prove himself but takes Steve Francis (a former NBA all star) position forcing the Magic to trade him. I think this is a great story that the media never covered. My brother's wife use to give him rides in college and also said that he was the nicest guy u'll ever meet, he always thanked her and told her that this was nice of her and didn't have to do this. I just wanted to post this because I think its a great story.

what is also great is that Francis is now a back up in New YOrk, he is getting what he deserves, that whinner.
