Brandon Lloyd contract?

Post by Skinsfan55 »

This is from rotoworld.com:

Brandon Lloyd believes he'll have a new long-term contract with the Redskins ironed out by next week.
There's a good chance he'll get more money than teammate Antwaan Randle El. Mar. 28 - 11:38 am et

Man I hope that is true, I want Lloyd to be the starter! (Of course, they probably ALL will start, lol)[/quote]

they should give them both the exact same contract, and let incentives determine who ends up with more.

I'm all for the Skins announcing a huge deal for Brandon, as long as it follows suit with the way the contracts were structured for the other FAs.

Why would he get a larger contract than ARE? Not the he doesn't deserve it but what would make him deserve it?

To boost his ego. None of these guys will play out their contracts as written, so if they toss another 1.5-2 million of "NFL Contract dollars" his way, why not?

maybe cause he played in more games and cought more balls then ARE. However I agree the contracts should read the same and make them work for their incentives. In other words work for their money.

i like it..

also dont change pattons contract save some added incentives.. i want all those guys with glue on their hands...

though i just thought of somthing, what if competition due to incentives starts bad blood between the guys?

i guess that dosnt matter cuse this is all hypothetical

That's what they're doing. Santana has the same contract.

As does (for other positions) Griffin, Springs, Washington, Carter, and Archuleta.

All are about 6 for 30.
