McCareins acquired for second-round pick

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 5, 2004) -- The Tennessee Titans traded wide receiver Justin McCareins to the New York Jets for a second-round draft pick.

McCareins was the Titans' second-leading receiver last season, finishing with 47 catches for 813 yards and seven touchdowns, including a 49-yard scoring reception against New York in December.

I love McCareins...but im not sure this was a smart move...the 42nd pick in the draft will be very valuable.

Even thought he was tendered at a 1st round pick..we got him for cheaper...but i still think we could have moved next years #2,but guess not.
