LA wasn't exactly a clubhouse leader during his tenure.cvillehog wrote:Who is going to keep TO in line, now?
Was very to himself. The most you ever saw from him was that one time he danced in front of you all a few years back.
And when he nearly beat the piss out of Cortez.
He'll be missed.

WOW! I don't think this was expected. I mean it had to happen eventually but for a guy like him to go out like this is sad. The timing is awful too. They just took alot of heat for paying T.O. big bucks and now they are cutting possible Hall of Famer and lifelong Cowboy over a 2 million dollar Roster bonus. The Cowboys fans who were pissed about the T.O. signing will not be happy about this.

It has little to do with the roster bonus.
He's not the same player. Sure, he can bench 700 pounds, and I think that's great, but he's gotten even slower through the years.
Big reason why Julius Jones was so bad last year was because of the loss of Adams and all the whiffs LA was letting happen.
He was NOT worth no $7M salary and he didn't want to restructure.
Bye-bye. Long live Kyle Kosier.
Unless Gurode is moving back to guard, we need to draft for depth again.

Cmon pt, Larry is way better than either of the guards dallas has on its team now. Kosier had trouble breaking the lions lineup and Rivera is old and injured.Primetime42 wrote:It has little to do with the roster bonus.

I was refering to both the Cortez incident and to all the sports pundits who have been giving various rationalizations for Jones' drastic over-spending on TO.

Not to mention he will have a issue to handle against Dallas. Oh yeah HE CAN BENCH 700 LBS!
I could have sworn he could squat 700 lbs. Not bench 700 lbs. Am I wrong on that? Or can he squat 700 as well?

You frequent our board enough to know what the majority of us feel about LA now.kkryan wrote:Cmon pt, Larry is way better than either of the guards dallas has on its team now.
