I hope Sammy pulls through. IMO, he is the best Redskin of all time.
He is 90+....cant say I am praying for him. I dont wish harm on Sammy but he has lived a very rich life. I get sad when a thirty of forty year old dies.
Death to all things remotely BLUE and SILVER!!!!!!!!!!! Hail Skins
Lived a Great and Long Life indeed. I'm thankful for his years as a REDSKIN. He was great. I hope he lives long enough to see the SKINS win another SB.
Don't matter where you are.... YOU'RE IN REDSKINS COUNTRY!
Jake -- how do you know that he's the best of all time? You're freaking 18 years old -- you didn't even see Riggins play!
Seriously, I didn't see Sammy but did see Sonny, Billy, Joe T., Charley Taylor, Art Monk, Dave Butz (that was one big fella), Riggins and one of my favorites of all time -- Neal Olkie...from UM..a guy who did so much with his talent -- a true team guy.

You got me on this one. Is this true?
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
From what my Dad told me, and what I heard from others (now in their '80's), and read, Sammy Baugh was truly the greatest Redskin ever.
Consider:
- one year he led the league in pass completions and pass interceptions. Think about that a bit.
- Old-timers declare that Baugh intervented the modern forward pass. He invented the tight-spiral bullet pass. Older guys lobbed the ball, tossed it up, but Slingin Sammy made the forward pass a true weapon.

We all know about SKINS from before our time!
Young Buck Jake impresses me on a lot of stats.
anyway, it doesnt matter...cuz it's about resepct to Baugh!

Sammy was the greatest of all time. I have an article that I wrote awhile ago that needs some polishing that I haven't had time to do. I'll get that sucker up in the next few days so that people who have not learned about this incredible athlete can do so.
RIP 21
