Irony.... is this.

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

NFL | Leaf may be hired to analyze the NFL Draft
Fri, 10 Mar 2006 04:46:41 -0800

The New York Post reports the NFL Network, which for the first time will provide counter-coverage to ESPN's presentation of the NFL Draft April 29, is interested in having former NFL QB Ryan Leaf, the 1998 No. 2 pick, as part of its draft show, an NFL Network spokesman confirmed.

All about ratings, imagine how many people might watch him just to see what the idiot might have to say.

why is he an idiot? Because he didn't live up to the hype...can you imagine what the guy lives with? How many sports fans use him as an example of the biggest bust of all time? What a legacy. Can you imagine how sad that would be if Ryan was your son? Give the guy a break.

I'm not giving the guy jack. He was an idiot not because he threw a promising career away, but because he always had something stupid to say, got in trouble every once in a while, and did everything but admit that he didn't give a damn about playing football while he was still active.

Screw Ryan Leaf.

It has nothing to do with the Cowboys.

He's the only guy who ever put the helmet on that I never gave a second thought about NOT cheering for.

TO might be the second.

PT, how many Dallas fans actually want TO?
is it 50/50?
What would you say it is?

Off topic, but doesn't deserve its own thread.

Nobody really wants him in the sense of "Oh yeah, let's go out and get TO at all costs"

It's more like "I hate the bastard, but if he ends up here, I'll support the decision"

I, on the other hand, well,

Destroy the team??? you guys are so full of it...you'll all be singing another tune when we ride his back to the superbowl and talking about how you thought it was a great idea to sign him from the beginning.
As a season ticket holder I paid good money to watch us play and I want to see some home playoff action and he will definetly help us with that. As far as losing respect for the coach or the Cowboys because they sign one player you don't like...then what kind'of fan are you really?? JJ is in this to put a winning football club on the field and he feels TO gives us that shot. For crying out loud you would think we were trying to sign Satan himself.
As far as abandoning the running game because TO and Key both want the ball...well then maybe thats a good idea because our running game hasn't been jack anyway. This is the year the Julius Jones experiment come to an end. MB3 will have his job before the season is half over...and I've been saying that since early last year.(another topic though...don't get me started on him...lol)

All Hail TO...
I'll stand by my word.

He could kiss the Lombardi right in front of my face (figuratively speaking, the TV of course) this January and I'll STILL call him a prick.

I can't wait til he brings out his new TD dance; The Brokeback

As you can see, I'm not too supportive of it.

Give me a break, I understand being a bust but this guy came out of college one of the best there was, 1,2,3rd overall, cant remember, got huge money, failing is one thing but not once in his career was he professional about it. If he was my son I would have been embarrassed. Thats why he's an idiot.

A lot of others did.

He's a chump, plain and simple.
