Whats left of our FA shopping List
What do ya'll think are our current needs after all these signings this week? Things are looking pretty good to me. I think all we need is a 3rd QB (Collins), a young DE, a 3rd Corner and a back up OL or 2. Also, any thoughts on who can/will fill these needs?

I think another need would be TE.
I like Fauria a lot, but he's no blocker... of course, maybe we can find a young blocker in the draft and cultivate them, or work on Robert Johnson...

Wait, so he's not a blocking TE? His recieving stats are pretty weak. So what is he good at? Maybe you are right about still needing a TE. I am confused about his signing now. I assuemed he was a good blocker with such low recieving stats.

I know, I thought he was brought in to replace Arrington at DE. If Carter is going to play DE, then we still need an OLB
Chris Clemons or Lemar Marshall
Clemons isn't capable of being an everydown player at this point, and if Marshall starts on the outside then we need a Middle LB unless Williams thinks McClune is ready to start.

Going into this offseason our biggest area of need was WR. Well they took care of that. Our next biggest area of need was CB and depth at offensive line a very close third. I mean our CB situation is so bad right now we couldn't play dime and we would have Jimoh in there for nickle. I'm not in love with Roggers. He had an OK first year, but most DBs slump their second year and Springs, well lets just say, is no Cal Ripken. You can't count on him playing every game.
A pass rushing end would be nice, but it isn't a must have! This deffense has been very good with whomever they lined up on the D-line. As far as LB, exactly how many games did Lavar actually play in the last two years. Now O-line, we have ZERO depth. All the WRs in the world won't make a difference if one or two of our dirtbags get hurt. And by the way Double D isn't even under contract!

Collins seems like a waste to me, but hey whatever, maybe hes the bst vet out there. All i know is that if Jason isnt ready now and Brunell doesnt play well all this FA signing and stuff wont mean anything. without a QB, washington goes nowhere.

You want to know what we need by the end of the offseason?
Just read my signature!

Maybe it's because he's taking your job.

I say we cut John Hall, and sign a young up and comer. I really like Nick Novak and I think we should try to save some dough here if we can find a reliable replacement. I'm guessing the Skins are thinking the same thing and may cut Hall during training camp.

You like Nick "14 yards" Novak?

Now that Wide Receiver, Special Teams Returner, Defensive End/Linebacker, Tight End, and Safety have been addressed, I think the next priority would be nickel corner(s), followed by place kicker and perhaps punter (although I would be inclined to continue giving Frost the opportunity). Beyond that, offensive line depth would be the most pressing item of need.
Two formation shifts, one man in motion, and a counter trey...those were the days...
