Do you believe Jason La Confora of the Post? It also says Fauria is close to signing.

Is this the new Posse?
Consider the flexibility: Moss, Randle El, and
ey...do the defenses over-cover Moss? Or drop off to smother both Moss and Randle EL, allowing the OL to grind open a hole for Portis? And who covers
ey when they concentrate on the others? And what happens when the Skins run all three WR's...the "posse" package?
Now I'm hoping for some depth at OL, and the pass-rushing DE.
Breath-taking.

i didnt even think of that .....madden is going to be nasty
They better make campbell an 80 or higher
our receivig core should be considered one of the elite in the league now
I cant think of many that can counter our depth and talent....can anyone put up a competitor to our 2007 wr's?
i wouldsay maybe the bengals but they might not have the kid from WV

Struggling with those numbers again?
But seriously, the lack of height is not a problem. The Patriots teams had short recievers (Givens, Branch, Brown, Patten and Johnson), and the '99 Rams team - the one that Al Saunders was the wide recievers coach for - also featured four shorter wideouts in Bruce, Holt, Hakim and Proehl. In fact, outside of that 2002 Buccaneers team, the last Super Bowl winner to start a reciever over 6'0" was the Broncos with Ed McCaffrey.
We don't need a guy like, I don't know, Justin McCariens, simply because he is 6'2".

Proper answer is: the same as the number of Lombardi Trophies under Joe Gibbs' belt. That;s how many.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
Actually, I'm not that happy.
I would have loved Randle El, if we hadn't gone out to get Lloyd, but now we are probably spending the most money in the NFL on WRs when we still have other needs to adress.
I just want Andre Carter and Clark back.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy, just not thrilled.

Well lets see. Thrash is 6 ft. Lloyd is 6 ft. Jacobs is 6 ft. Now, one of those three pobably wont be on the team next year(excluding Lloyd), but we will be fine.
I used this example earlier to emphasize a point but it can work again.
2005 colts: harrison: 6 ft, wayne: 6 ft, stokley: 5'11
1999 rams: bruce: 6 ft, holt: 6 ft, hakim: 5' 10
Neither of these prolific offenses had your big prototype reciever. Last I checked they were fine without them.

7 years, 31 million with 11.5 bonuses is not a lot of money. Probably a little higher than most #2's, and Randle also does returns and can throw the ball.
Pretty good signing in my book. Moss, Randle El and Brandon as 1, 2 and 3 sounds extremely nice IMO.
I don't see a problem with guys getting enough balls. We will be racking up a lot more yards and points now.
ey will lose a few balls, and probably Sellers, but that's ok with me
All we need now is for Campbell to get into the action and flourish. If that happens, we'll be the new Patriots...

What happens to Patten? I know we ahve upgrades at this position now but is this going to hurt us salary cap wise, if we cut Patten.

We needed to add a red zone threat and we haven't done that yet. I can't really imagine us signing anymore receivers so I don't see how this is going to help us in the red zone. You can only run so many wr screens.
Actaully Randle El is more of a possesion reciever, he has a great burst but is not the fastest WR in the league. He was used as a "chain mover" all year last year.
Where does Randle-El get this rap of not having top flight speed! DID ANYONE SEE HIM CHASE DOWN THAT CHAWK SAFETY IN THE SB. He was ten yards behind him and halfway accross the field. Randle-El was faster than EVERYONE on that field! Not many people could have made that play. That was Do Good chasing down Tony "the human fumble machine" Dorsett type of play.
Someone answere me how we are going to keep Moss, Patten, Lloyd, and Randle-El all happy in an offense that very rarely has more than 2 WRs on the field at any given time.

Wow, this is great!
I believe that Jason Campbell will be under center when the season starts and he is going to have a field day throwing to these guys. The new look of this offense is making my mouth water!
Lets see... Campbell, Portis,
ey, Moss, Lloyd, Randle El, Betts, Cartwright, Sellers, Samuals, Jansen... wait... I can't stop! What an offense. I like the youth we have now.
Saunders will have lots of fun game planning for Randle El.
