It looks like the QB may have screwed up the play...

Anyway, are you against Lloyd Jake?

Off topic, but this sorta reminded me...

I have a loud voice... but I lost my voice once in 11th grade and I can't hardly last a whole game of booing and cheering, it's a curse!

Actually, if he hadn't duck and/or put his hands up, the ball would probably be intercepted by the defender in the background. So, ironically (and oxymoronically) that was a "heads up" play.

After hearing that Randle El wants 20 Mil over 5 years, I'd rather just get Lloyd instead.

And yeah, while Randle El and Lloyd would be cool, that's too much money on WR's alone. We'd have Moss, Lloyd and Randle El... believe it or not, that's too many WR's!.

I'd rather just get Lloyd, Carter, and resign Clark.

I'm not really excited about this move. Of course, I wasn't excited about Moss aside from the fact that we were getting rid of Coles and his toe. At least the Lloyd's young. He can be good. He did score two touchdowns and hauled in an 89 yard reception against Dallas, so that's gotta count for something.

ESPN is reporting the trade has been completed...

KFFL:
49ers | Lloyd trade done
Sat, 11 Mar 2006 15:56:01 -0800

Greg Beacham, of the Associated Press, reports the San Francisco 49ers have traded restricted free agent WR Brandon Lloyd to the Washington Redskins for the Redskins' third-round pick in this year's NFL Draft and their fourth-round selection in 2007.

haha, my site said "Niners ship headache Lloyd to Redskins" This guy sounds like drama and someone I wouldn't want to put him near Taylor.

"Though Lloyd made countless eye-popping catches during his three years with San Francisco, he also made a series of memorable drops and mistakes. Lloyd drew criticism from hard-nosed teammates such as Fred Beasley and Kevan Barlow for his flashy jewelry - and his aspirations to become a rapper in his spare time."

Difference is Gardner's website would have highlighted the most acrobatic drops in history. I hope he works out, I think he will...Gibbs is thorough with his research.

I knew it was coming - not a Nolan type guy. Too much show and not enough consistency. That ball he short armed at the goal line late laste year pi$$ed me off and I am sure that it caught Nolan's attention. Made spectular catches sometimes but made other easier catches look hard for show (JMHO). Could not catch across the middle or anywhere near traffic because he feels he is "too precious" to get hurt. Again, I don't know why or how I specifically came to feel this way about Lloyd but he clearly leaves me with that impression. Glad we picked up some picks while we could. Mark my words and watch him next year in W before you think I am just bashin'.

It's because Lloyd is leaving town. This happens to fans everywhere--love a player on your team (even when he causes trouble) and talk trash about him as soon as he leaves.

It's times like these that I think of names like Stephen Davis, Champ Bailey, Fred Smoot, or Lavar Arrington.
