Restructured
According to KFFL, the Washington Redskins have restructured the contracts of DE Phillip Daniels, Jon Jansen, and Cornelius Griffin contingent on no CBA. He also reported that Cory Raymer, Walt Harris, & Brandon Noble have been told by Gibbs that they'll be released.
It sounds like Gibbs is getting the salary cap down without cutting too many players. It also sounds like the team feels they are close to a championship and willing to restructure to maintain the positive momentum!

If only we could cut the most worthless posters...
Personally, I hope it isn't so... good backup, great guy. Players don't come any nicer than Cory Raymer, and while some armchair fans obviously think they know something about football... perhaps the game of life elludes them.
We'll try to catch up with Cory in the offseason and let you know what he's doing, regardless of what happens...

First of all my life is good, so don't talk about the game of life. Second of all Raymer misses blocks like its his job. He was a goof off, a clown, just because you are a nice guy doesn't mean your a good player by any means. Every time they blitzed up the middle he could never pick it up. I may not know football, but I still know more than you.

I thought there was no personal attacks. I guess you make the rules for everyone to follow, but you yourself don't have to follow them.

Ray Brown was our best backup last year. It's just a shame that he was so old and had to retire. Raymer when he played last season was terrible.
I agree. "The Ageless Ray Brown" was definitely our best backup last year. Cory Raymer was really worthless to us. I remember when Casey Rabach was injured for a couple series in a game and Raymer replaced him. I think Brunell was sacked twice and they were either a blitz right at the center or a blown block by Raymer himself. He's very weak and DEs and LBs push him into the QB way too many times.
Nothing's more exciting than a life of a Redskin fan. haha yuuup.
