Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

That the Eagles will sign LeCharles Bentley as soon as they can. They said they would've signed him already if free agency had not been pushed back.

Big time bummer. That's a great move by Philly.

Yeah, LeCharles is good, but don't they already have Fraley. He's pretty good too.

I thought the Eagels main target was going to be Randle El, but they do have a lot of cap space so maybe they'll get him too.

Bentley can play guard.

Yeah, but that might take away some of his value. He is one of the most talented young center in the League, and either he or Fraley will have to play Guard.

I happen to think he's just as good at either position.

I wanted him in '02. Very fast for his size. Preferable over Al Johnson.

Saints | Bentley denies report
Sat, 4 Mar 2006 06:39:00 -0800

Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints OC LeCharles Bentley denied Friday, March 3, a Philadelphia newspaper report that he is planning to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles as soon as free agency begins Monday, March 6. One thing that is clear is Bentley will not be returning to the Saints. Earlier this week, he made his strongest comment yet, telling CBSportsline that, "I would rather sit out a season than play for the Saints again."

Bentley can play guard or center. Jamall Jackson look okay at center and could be switched to G. There's lots of flexibility here for them.
Fraley's done as a starter. He'll make the team as a backup.
