... it ain't back in Toronto yet... Quinn was still behind the bench wasn't he? I guess missing the playoffs is the only way we'll ever get rid of his antiquated style of coaching.
They looked just like the Olympic team last night... flat, useless and poorly coached.

Yes exactly, however gotta stand by the team, similar to the way Ive stood by our mighty redskins. If it means anything the Skins will win the bowl way before the Leafs win the cup, i always am hoping for a 92-93 leafs repeat.
GO SKINS GO!!
They sure have the Leafs number this year...
... too bad they don't have too many other teams'.
And a lot of people have the Leafs number this year... their coach thinks it's 1984, their defense sucks, their coach thinks that Sundin is so good that he should play with ANYONE and distribute 'their talent' throughout the team, the team plays completely without heart most nights, save maybe Darcy Tucker and Chad Kilger... there's no accountability whatsoever under the coach... they have been decimated with injuries... and their coach still hasn't figured out that all the 'I've been shot' grimaces in the world aren't going to make the referees stop calling penalties the way they are, so maybe he should start holding the players accountable and they'll stop taking the same bone-headed LAZY penalties.
... did I mention the coaching isn't very good?
Maybe Quinn's style used to work, but trying to roll four lines consistently and manning your lines accordingly is just a fundamental misunderstanding of the fact that the game has changed significantly. To me he'll never be successful again in Toronto because not only do I think he's lost touch with the new game... so do his players.
But I digress....
Looks like we might get to roll out the old stand by hockey joke this year though...
How do you know it's spring time?
Leafs are out.

right on!! won't be long before ovechkin has them in the playoffs and making noise. i just bought my FIRST jersey ever, of any sport and it was ovechkin's... he's amazing.
If it wasnt for Ovechkin you guys would be absolutly horrible!! He is some talent! He should most definatly be the Rook of the Year! Dont get me wrong Crosby is having a supurb year, but there the worst team in the NHL.

settle yourself.. Caps won't be making the playoffs anytime soon. Probably not even next year, but with Alexander the Great leading the way, the Caps will start to make the playoffs and make noise year after year.
The Flyers always bring in a bunch of names and never do anything... I've lived in Flyer country for 11 years now and it's the same every year...
