The point is that the Bears made just about every qb they faced last year look lost. So is Ramsey somehow supposed to dominate a team when just about every other qb that faced them struggled? That makes no sense. And how did Brunell look against the Bears after he came in that game? He looked just as lost.
Ramsey 6-11, 105 yard, 1 int
Brunell 8-14, 70 yards
So I still don't see how you can determine from one half against a top defense that a qb isn't able to be a succesful starter in the NFL.
Ramsey did not look lost. He, in fact, threw a TD pass that was called back through no fault of his own, He played a very respected half game with good yardage and a TD pass. The sack was due to Jansen's missed block and he suffered a terrible hit.
The notion that he blew anything in that game is so wrong and absurd that its difficult to respond to it,
Ramsey has fine stats for the skins, He/s by far the most productive Redskin over the last 4 years with 39 TD passes in the eqivalent of 21 games and over 5000 yds. In spite of spot duty, he's way ahead of Portis and Brunell both of whom have played more than he has, as well as Coles, Gardner,

ey, etc.
In what way has he blown anything. He has a lifetime QB rating of over 75 and last year turned in a rating of over 95, both much higher than Brunell's. I guess what you're saying is that there's a double standard. Brunell and others can look like crap game after game and be stolid Redskins; Ramsey's blows it when he doesn't look like Johnny Unitas.
