I second that, we can trade away next years first round and this years second for a pick to be able to get him. Mario Williams is close to being the next deal; like Julius Peppers. Next years draft will not be loaded like this with a very top talent ,athletic DE. If it happens I wont be pissed.
When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long. Take the reason for the mistake into your mind, and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power. - JORDAN

I am a die hard NC State fan and have followed Mario Williams the last 4 years. He is very good and is really big 6'6 280lbs with 4.4 speed. He is really good but will go in the top 5. I would love more than anything to have him but it just isn't possible. One person we should be looking at is his counterpart Manny Lawsom who is just 2 inches shorter but longer arms, and just as fast. One main thing that Lawson has over Williams is consistantcy. Lawsom was always in plays and Williams just took too long this year to get going.
Another guy off of NC State's Roster who would be a good pickup is John Mcargo. He's an inside tackle and very fast and always makes plays. A big run stopper who has the ability to rush the passer and make sacks. Hope this helps. These guys should be around in the 2nd round for us to pick up.

As a die hard "hater" of NC STATE (sorry frankcal), I have to say that I would love to have Manny Lawson. He would not cause us to have to give up the world to get, and I think he is going to be as good as Mario. I have seen him several times, and the guy can flat out play the position.

Taylor and Landry will take no Prisoners!! - I just can't bring myself to delete it!

His speed and versatility are intriguing. Lawson can fly off the edge, showcasing athleticism and excellent closing speed. He could be a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme or operate as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense. He also has been a tremendous special-teams performer.
