Where do you reside in OR, Skeletor? I lived in Portland during Graduate school. I hope to move back sometime in the future.

I'm in the lovely town of Bend, in Central Oregon. Moved from D.C. two years ago. Thank God for the Sunday Ticket.

Bend, Yea, I've been there. Nice town, though I fear a bit too many other people agree with us. I worry a lot about the suburban sprawl there.

What brought you out to OR?

Bend has officially hit 70,000 people. But I wouldn't really call it suburban sprawl yet. However, housing industry is booming and home prices are rising quickly. Luckily we bought in.

Came out for a job officially, but was just tired of spending 3 hours a day commuting from Loudoun County to downtown D.C. Lots of mountains to climb here too. Simpler cheaper, happier living.
