1st and 10 eight best SB teams

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

1st and 10 eight best SB teams

Post by skinsfan#33 »

I was watching 1st and 10 on Cold Pizza today and those idiots Skip and Dork both ranked the best 8 SB teams and NIETHER had a single Skins team in their top eight! Hell Skip had the losing Baltimore Colts at nine!
It spun me up pretty good and confirmed what I alreadt knew; those two idiots know nothing about football! And I will never watch them again!

The 91 team was much better. I know they were replacements but I don't think the Redskins were as dominant as they were in 91. In 91, they just CRUSHED almost everybody. I think we were 14-2.

I'm hoping we can have a 91-esque season in 2006 or 2007.

As far as 1st and 10 go, Skip Bayless and Woody Paige are NOT any reliable sources for footbal knowledge and insight. I rarely agree on their football opinions.

How the hell did they not pick the 91 Skins, they absolutely dominated that year and easily won the SB. Wow! it's really nuts not to pick that team as one of the best, atleast top 5.

Yeah, why would you listen to Woody Paige?

That guy doesn't know a thing about sports.

If you ever watch Around the Horn, he never has stats or arguments that make any sense.

Paige is all opinion and humor, kind of like a wannabe Tony Kornheiser.

A viable argument could be made that the 1983 team -- the one that lost -- was the best of the four Gibbs teams that went to the Super Bowl.

Of course, teams that don't bring it home drop out of sight.

(And, of course, the better team doesn't always win a one-game scenario -- that's what's great about sports)

I think we were 14-2.

That's a good point jake... yeah we were 14-2 (losing one each to the eagles and pukes)

But I was referring to our SB team alone, just that game... how we played in that particular game. The season was much better in 91, but that display of dominance over denver was out of this frigg'n world!

You got a point. Our 87 SUPER BOWL team whooped on Denver. Can't rememeber a dominant perofmance like that.
