Patrick Woodcock

Post by BossHog »

Receiver Pat Woodcock, the outstanding Canadian at last year's Grey Cup, returned to the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday, less than two weeks after being cut by the Washington Redskins.

"We're very happy to have him back," said Als general manager Jim Popp. "We were pulling hard for him to make it in the NFL, obviously from a financial standpoint. But I think he's at peace with it. He's ready to move on."

anybody know where watson is at, does he have any offers from any teams? a damn shame, ya know. :( you'd think the saints would try to sign him instead of ki-jana carter to compete as duce's backup.

Watson is supposedly going in for a tryout with the Green Bay Packers early next week, according to ESPN.com's Tip Sheet.

I wrote that newstip about Watson. I forgot I wasn't signed on to the site, but I don't know why it let me post the message.
