Wr's may not be acquired

Post by John Manfreda »

I was looking at this article, and in it brought up a good point. That Al's offense never had a great reciever. He may do fine with Patton and Moss. Its still more talent than any other recievers he had in Kansas city. I could see the Skins going after a DE and Te as their top priorities. I would like to see them add another reciever but it might no happen.

Yes, but ...

the skins were too predictable. We had only one dependable - albeit outstanding - WR. That's a whole lot diffeerent than 2 or 3 decent WRs. Our opponents would cover SM, CC and CP and key off them. We need more weapons. At least when Patton was in there they hgad to respect him and his potential - which opened things up for SM.

Imagine what Al could do with SM and a couple of good WRs! I'm drooling already for next season!

Well I think that he puts so much value in the players and route running. They will make the major adjustments there.

Don't get me wrong I think they should acquire another reciever but it might not happen.

I think what needs to be considered here is; do we really need more receivers or a QB that can get the ball to them? We could have an all star cast there, but if we can't get the ball to them then they're useless.

I think getting a WR is pretty high on the want list for the Skins.

I would still like to see a new WR come and take that #2 spot.

The scheme is what was too predictable. I have to believe that this is why Saunders is here. Moss had plenty of big plays, but everybody knew where the ball was going as the season wore on.

I think in the draft we will go after a big TE.
