Wasn't sure where to post this but anyway ...

1 When I was in high school the top local radio station was DC 101. They sent an employee basketball team (the DC one-oh-Wonders) to our school for a charity game. They had a bunch of dorks, a 7 foot tall ringer, and Joe Theisman. Long story short - they beat our state champs, the 7 footer blocked everything, and Joe was clearly the best athlete I'd ever seen up close - and a TOTAL A$$HOLE.

2 This one is from Trent Dilfer. I'll paraphrase his remarkS from NFL access last night. They asked Dilfer about the Raven practice on the Wednesday before the Super Bowl. He said they did very little. The scout team ran 8 sanps against the D and the O ran 8 snaps of 7 on 7 against the D. Turns out Joe was there. He ran all the snaps for the scout team and took 4 of Dilfer's 8 snaps in the 7 on 7s. So the Ravens ran 16 snaps in the Wednesday practice before the Super Bowl and Joe Theisman took 12 of 'em! Dilfer concluded by saying you can bet Joe was at both practices today trying to take snaps.

Joe Theismann being a jerk isn't exactly breaking news.

Nonetheless, interesting stories.

I still love Joe Theismann even if he is a jerk.

When he was injuried by LT, he was taken to Arlington Hospital that night. My dad was the cop on duty at the hospital. When they brought Joe in someone stole his jersey. But, with a little bit of investigating that night, it was the EMT's, they wanted a piece of history. I think they lost their jobs.
